Call came from:708-234-0250Said to call Kim Davis at 877-265-3790Same scam. Recorded message saying won Lincoln Navigator
Bob is still at it-- called my home and left the same message about winning a Lincoln Navigator in a sweepstakes I entered...seeing as I haven't entered any I decided to check up on him on-line and found this page...so thanks for putting up the scam saved me a phone call.
I got a call in Arlington S.D. on my answering ma****e telling me that the sweepstakes was over and that I was the winner of a 2009 Lincoln Navigator.Sorry to say I called back time after time and just get a ma****e. So I looked up on the net to see my name as a winner. Guess what I found? Yup. this page. Same Bob Payne (pain) . Whatever his name is. same number. Thanks for your posts on this guy. it saved me some trouble.5-27-09 The number that called me was 1-800-254-1173
I didn't answer Private caller 180-254-1173. Someone named Bob Pain left message. I won a new Lincoln Navigator and to call the claim center. No obligations. I called but no one was there to take call. I figured it was nothing and here I am checking number and boy oh boy lots of people look like they just won a new lincoln navigator :) Aren't we all lucky :)
I was called today two times and told that I had won a 2009 Lincoln Navigator.Somehow they claimed that I had entered a sweepstakes and my card was pulled.Congratulations they said. There was also another man whose name is William Parker who called me back after I returned a call. They had called me a month ago and said time was running out soon to claim my prize. They said the same thing a***n this time. Bob Payne sounds like a slick smooth voice salesmen. I did a reverse number look up from my caller id on 309.807.2033. This number is located in Bloomington, Ill. No address available unless you pay a fee. From the comments these posted commments I decided it must be a scam and left a message for them not to call a***n or I'll report them. I think I'll report them anyway.
Bob Payne left me a message today about winning a lincoln navigator! we were at a car show a couple weeks ago, so I called back & got message. Then I checked on line and found all these comments! You gotta' love technology. Thanks for saving me some trouble.
Sounds like the same Bob Payne or Paine that clled me today saying I won a Lincoln Navigator. He called last week and left a message. The number he called from was a number in Illinois. Guess I won't call back.
Called Bob Paine back; he asked for income, marital status and how often I use a credit card. He said I had to go to the Global Network office in Metro West FL by 8PM tonight to claim my prize, pay $2000 in taxes up front and then my Lincoln Navigator would be delivered in 7-10 days. Not willing to shell out $2000 for a pig in a poke, I told him that it sounded like a scam and that I wasn't interested. He quickly ***g up.
I got a recorded message saying that I had won a 2009 Lincoln Navigator. Said that there were no obligations but that time is of the essence. Said to call Bob Paine @ 1-800-254-1173. I called the number and spoke with "Bob Paine." He asked what state I was from, when I said *****chusetts he said to call back on Wednesday. He refused to answer any questions until I call back on Wednesday.
I got a call saying I won a car no obligations but time is an essence. I didnt call him back
