Leave a CommentThese people keep calling me. It is usually a man with a heavy Indian accent. I keep telling the I know it is a scam and to get my number off their calling list. Today he kept arguing with me and I cursed at him and said to get my number off his ****ing List. Then I ***g up. how an I get rid of them. I will report them to the do not call number, but I don't know if it will work or not.
Called 3x today. Never leaves a message
They call me every day multiple times. When I answer no one is there. I've also been getting the "windows" calls about my infected computer. I used to get mad but now I just goof on the caller. I tell him my computer is showing letters. I ask him to write them down and tell me what they mean. Very slowly I say S C A M that usually gets them to **** up, sometimes they even curse at me - I consider it a victory.
my customer called about the harrasment she's getting. the number is is from an agency that is more than likely s****ing the caller id (fake caller id) and is extorting money for 'computer repairs'

They wont stop calling
I received nine phone calls from this number yes****ay. They never left a message. So that was definately weird. Today, after another four calls, I answered. It was definately an auto-dialer. A man with an Indian accent picked up and said that he was calling from Windows. He said my computer had gotten a virus and they were receiving notifications from my computer that the virus was trying to copy my Windows' "key" and this was triggering multiple errors that were being automatically sent to Windows. He said that the virus had blocked their ability to send an automatic patch. He asked if I was aware that my computer was infected. I asked him specifically who he worked for. He said that he represented Windows. I laughed and said "So wouldn't that mean you worked for Microsoft?" He stumbled over his words for a second, then said it was extremely important that I work with him. He said he was going to walk me through what files to remove and then install. He said that once I fixed a couple of files, then he would be able to remote access in to help me fix it, and he could restore the Windows files. I have always made sure that our computers have top of the line security and knew this was fraud. I then told him to remove me from whatever list he got me from, and that if he called me a***n I would report him to law enforcement and ***g up.
