Called me good to know - debt collector

Recorded message directed to my son or another caller. They call many times/week. Not legitimate. They say you have to call them if you want the calls to stop. I refuse to call them.

These guys call once a week. It drives me batty. They always leave the message that this is a time sensitive call.

I have filed with the FCC and intend to win. These neanderthals have called my home, my cell phone & now my employers so I hope they take head once the FCC has contacted them or this could get interesting!

I keep getting calls from this number for someone I have never heard of. I tell them to stop calling and after about 5-6 times they do THEN they s**** a***n a few months later. They have s****ed a***n and I want them to stop.

Have called asking for another party in order to collect a debt.

Left a message for someone who does not live at this address and insisted the 1-800 # be called back because of a debt owed.

Have no clue why they call me? They dont really say anything? But try and talk to you like they know you?

They keep calling for my LATE ex-husband. I don't appreciate my children hearing messages asking for their dead ***her. I've tried calling the number back but there is no answer. He never even lived in this state nor did he ever have this phone number.

received several calls to my cell phone to call back within 24 hours--no mention of who or why. Because I had to pay for incoming calls and also to retrieve my voicemails, I finally called back. It was a debt collector -- calling for someone I've never heard of. Calling my cell phone for a debt from another cell providor who I have never had service with. They ***g up on me when I told them I was angry about paying for their calls and to never call me a***n. I hope they're taken out of business

Have called several times! I am on a no call list and they won't stop calling. I have reported them to the state. I hope our Attorney General sues the p-*** out of them!

Have received 2 calls from them for Mary (same last name as ours & we have relative by that name). When I called, I asked name of company because I could not understand person who asnwered phone. She just asked why I called so I gave her reference #. I was passed to Lisa Brown who asked if I was Mary. Said there was no Mary at this # & never has been. Lisa said # would be taken off list.

This number called my home last week. It was automated and asked for my husband by name and listed off a reference #. I didn't call them back. Then yes****ay they called my MOTHER with the same exact message asking for my husband by name. We don't live with my mom, never have since I moved out 5 years ago. I tried to call back and it just rang and rang. I'm wondering if they are charging my phone bill or so****ing. But its just weird that they called my mom considering we can't think of any trail he has to her other than married in. No paperwork, or co-signing on loans or so****ing.

I recieved calls from this number, I do not know the person they are trying to contact. How do I stop these calls?

recorded messages on my cell phone 3-4x weekly asking me to call this number. I called the number once and they said this was accounts receivable dept--of what?? I was told my number would be removed but it was not. I called a***n today, 7-30-08 and a guy answered with not identifying information and when I told him what I wanted I was disconnected. I would like to have this stopped--I am being charged by the minute and this is time and money wasted!!

This was a pre-recorded message with no name or company ID, both of which are illegal. They want "a call back in 24 hours on time sensitive matter" but gave no indication of who they are or to whom they wish to speak. w***ver they are, they are totally unscrupulous and I do not respond to ANY pre-recorded messages. Go phish in another pond!

The person they are calling for doesn't live here. They have called my # on several occasions and keep leaving messages via recording. I want them to stop calling my home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has called my cell phone repeatedly asking for Brenda Broadnecks. After about 12 calls, I called back and asked that they stopped calling. It hasn't stopped! I received a call where a recording gave me a reference number and requested a call - it regarded some personal business regarding my son. When I called they wanted to know if he was available, if I had a number for him or was in contact with him or if I could get a message to him. It took three times for them to tell me the name of the company - CCA. When I asked how they got my phone number (my son is 37 years old and I see him only at the family Christmas party) they ***g up.

To find out your information they are using Skip Tracers.  They have access to multiple databases which contain information about family members, partial SSN's, addresses, date of births, etc.  If they think you may have any relationship with the person they are trying to find they will call you.Thank you for the link for filing complaints. Does anyone know if there is a statement you can make to these types of companies to get them to stop calling you when they have the wrong number?  I know you can call your phone company after the third call and report the harrassing calls.  You need to track the date / time of the calls.

I get these calls all the time.......Bill Clinton is to blame because he's the idiot that authorized such parasites to bug citizens.Instead of the world trade centers of getting attacked, these calling buildings harboring these soliciters should of been hit instead by the *********s.

My mother in law got a phone call last night looking for her grandson (my son).  She called them this morning and they were very rude to her.  She didn't even know who they were or what they wanted!  How the heck did they get my mother in laws phone number anyway!  That's what I want to know.

Almost every week I receive calls from this number. A message is never left and I have no idea whom is calling.

They just tell you that to get you off the phone they DO NOT take your number off the auto dialer.  Sometimes they remove the number off the account but if there is another account with your number on it they still call you or if they get new account with your number on it the calls s**** back.

I continue getting calls for Charles.  There is no charles living at my home, at least I don't think so.  After tell this agency he does not live here, the calls continue to come.  I've already instructed them to remove my number from their listing. Unfortunately it's not on their list of prority.

They have been calling my cell phone for the last 6 months.  The first time I called back and they told me they were a healthCare Collection Agency.  They asked for a David and I told them they have the wrong number and they said they would take my # of their list.  They are still calling at least 2x a week.

I just got a call from them and called them back. They asked me for my phone number, looked it up, and told me they are a collection agency looking for a Melissa. I told them there is no such person at my address and that we moved into this house last October. They apologized and took my number off the list.

I have been recieving calls from this number as well. I called them back today. All they asked for was the number I was calling from. The gentleman pulled me up on the computer and asked if I was (he gave a name I don't want to post here). I said no and he said he would take me off thier list. He did not give me a hard time.

I put my number on the do not call list, and yet they still call me, just not as often as before.  sometimes they leave a voicemail, like this time, but it's always a computer recording looking for different person every time.  I've answered once or twice and ***ody's ever there, it's always a computer.

If a collections agency calls your work you should state that they are not allowed to call your place of business. The normal practice is to provide your home/cell number to them so they will stop calling your workplace. They can't do too much, however, they might go to court to freeze your bank account - a common thing. If you up-to-it-deep in debt keep only a small amount of money in your account (as these freezes tend to happen around the holidays, FYI). Your bank account can/will be unfrozen after you make a simple monthly set of payments.

Repeated calls to my place of employment. If I did have a bill with these people my place of employment is NOT the place to call me. This is harassment and it needs to stop. I thought it was a***nst the law for people to call your place of employment. i am truly po'd!
