Also, under closer inspection, when you call this number back, the voice is similar to the real RBC automated customer service voice but the fake one speaks slightly slower and doesn't translate into French.
Received a call from them claiming to be RBC, saw the above post claiming it was a scam and decided to proceed with caution. Called RBC with their regular customer service number and was told the only time RBC would call a client is either to confirm an appointment (talk to a real person, no one in this household booked one) or an automated call. We were advised to ignore the call.
Call says RBC, SCAM!!
No message left. Do not know who called me.
