Aargon debt collection
BEWARE***** I received a call showing up as ACA 702-853-1706 on my caller ID. I said if you are ____ (my name) press 1. So I pressed 1 because I had received several calls from ACA over the past week. After a nearly 10 minute hold time I got a fuzzy connection with a man who said he worked for Aargon Collection Agency and that I had an outstanding bill from Donjoy orthopedics for an orthopedic device which I got nearly a year ago. I did have ortho surgery and got an ortho device, but my insurance covered the surgery 100%. I was skeptical because the man was very pushy about me paying with a credit card right away, but wouldn't send proof of the debt. He told me to call back at 800-280-1183 despite the 702-853-1706 number coming up on my caller ID. Aargon collection agency has SEVERAL fraud claims a***nst them. Just google Aargon Collection fraud to see. Also check out BBB.org they have numerous complaints. DO NOT GIV OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO TO THEM
i was just left a message to call a bridget at 1-800-280-1183....does anyone know anything about this person? Are they really illegal?
