This ***** called my moms house,looking for me with my maiden name and then for my husband,asks her if we live there and she said no, so he then tells her he knows what city we live in, so my mom tells him, if you know where they live then contact them there and he didn't say anything about that, He was very rude and threatening towards her and tells her that he won't give up looking for us, he will do whatever it takes to find us and he won't stop. We don't owe anything and found it fishy because he asked for me by my maiden name and then asks for my husband. People beware of scams and never give out any information about anyone.

Calls at all hours day/night asks for someone I do not know but keeps calling!

This guy called me looking for my neighbor. He said he could not reach my neighbor and asked if I knew them. I said yes and asked why he was trying to get in touch with them? He did not reply and gave me this 800 number to go over and give to them and tell them to call him. I checked the internet and found these complaints. Who does this?

A lady by the name of Carol called and left me a message that she was a mediator on a claim that was filed a***nst me through Advanta Bank and I was going to be served with a subpoena. I needed to call Cathy back at 800-280-3800 x 4057. I had to listen to the message 4 times to understand what the lady was even saying. When I called Cathy, she told me not to **** up while she got my file because I had a subpoena being served and I waited. She tried looking my up in their database under my first and last name, the number they contacted me at, and my social security number... and much to my suprise, she couldn't locate me. She asked if my name was Carrie and I told her no, and what my real name was. I also explain that I personally do not have any accounts with Advanta and I believe they had the wrong person. She was rude and told me she was 100% sure they had the right person but yet she couldn't find any of my information. She told me that the womans office that had my info was locked and I would have to call back tomorrow morning. After being completely stressed about the situation, I called a co-worker whos sister is a Sheriff's Deputy and she thought it sounded like fraud. I also called Advanta Bank directly and they looked up my social security number and found nothing and told me I should pay no attention to the call. Afterwards, I decided to notify the 3 bureaus and was able to put a Fraud Alert on through Equifax. You can do this online and they notify the other 2 bureaus. I'm now getting ready to call my bank to s**** putting freezes on my accounts. Now that I've done my research a little bit, I'm actually looking forward to making this call tomorrow morning. If push comes to shove, AEC will be the ones holding a subpoena!

a mr williams is calling my sister, who has a different last name, trying to get personal information , by saying my wife and i put her as a reference. she thought this odd and refused.

very rude thinks every one he calls is lazy and low life for not paying there credit card debt.although the bank he purchased the debt from (about 20 cents on the dollar)filed bankruptcy themselves.of course he blames that on all of us who dont pay our credit cards.

Has left several messages stating that he does not know why I won't call him back. Very threatening and rude messages even threatening my family's future and household. Has even requested that I call not my husband?? There is no way I will call him back!! Who wants to talk to someone with an at***ude about a bill you owe! If it even is a bill that I owe - why can't he disclose where he is from so that you know if he is a scam or not...

Somehow got neighbor's phone number that I don't even know and called them looking for me. Sent a message to my home through my neighbor.

Keeps calling unauthorized phones and using threatening language to try and persuade people you know to give out personal information about yourself.He has even repeatedly called employees supervisors at their workplace to try to get his information this way,even after being asked not to call there.

this number won't quit calling me. they won't leave a message and call up to 10 times a day.

Called me four times within two minutes (twice on cell phone and twice on government work phone). Left a message to call "Gabriel Sutherland" at ext. 1233. Caller ID showed "Unavailable" so I won't be calling this man back. Anyone who pays to hide their iden***y doesn't deserve a response.

Mr. Cook called my Ex-Mother in Law and acused me of fraud because I haven't been able to pay a debt. I have talked to the debt holder sever times to keep them updated on my attempts to pay them.

PLEASE STOP THESE IDIOTS FROM CALLING MY CELL PHONE FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!
