-Only 3 states verbal permission can be given to stop calls: MA, OH, OR -- All other states must send in writing that they no longer want to receive calls.Now, if it's a wrong number that's different, but we have ways of telling if it's really a wrong number or not, so if you lie we'll just call you back until you send it in writing.

My son keeps receiving calls from this number, claiming they are MACYS. When I called them to put a stop to the calls, it appeared they were some type of "credit services." The entire phone call seemed "unusual" in that the first thing they asked me for was the last 4 digits of my SSN. I find no record of this number on the MACYS web site for contact info.

I receive calls repeatedly all day from this number and when I pick up the receiver no one answers on the other end.

I get them as well. In most States these repeatative calls are illegal under Harassment by communications or address.. This also applies to those do***e bags from collection agencies whether you owe them or not, once advised to quit calling it cons***utes a crime to continue. Report it to your local police and continue to do so every time until so****ing is done about it !!! Also if it turns out to be the person that is one step lower than s***; a telemarketer, you can report these violations to your prospective Attorney Generals office if you are on a no call list.

Keep getting calls from this number several times a day. They never leave a message.

This number calls my cell six to seven times a day. It goes to voice mail, but they do not leave a message. Very annoying. I have no debt, so I have no reason for someone to call me like this.

this is harassment through and through. I get called at least 5 times a day but I never answer it. It comes in as Toll Free and I ignore it, but they never give up!

Most likely a debt collector. Boycott the system of debt *****ry!

this number calls me everyday!!  i am never going to answer it.... the leave voicemails saying citicard and macys

It's Macy's but I believe Citibank/Citicards is handling the Macy's credit accounts.

The recording says Macy's.  I only received one call so far.  Is there a place to report such harassment if it happens a***n ?

Apparently Citicards handles Macy's accounts now.  She said she was calling from Citicards regarding a Macy's account.

I just called to verify who has this number. It was a recording that says Macys. This is definitely Macys that is calling you from 800-289-0027. Not Citicard.

I don't have anything from Citicard. No debt at all. On my fax caller ID it says Macys. Have you called this number back to find out if it really is Citicard, because I see that your caller ID is "out of area."
