Yes, Walter is correct. Thank goodness I picked up the phone this time. I think it's a great service. For the longest time, if I got a call from a toll free number, I would let the phone just ring and ring and ring. But then i decided....why should I let them rule my life. So I s****ed answering the calls and if I didn't want what they were offering (99.9% of time) told them I wasn't interested and put me on the DO NOT CALL list. I receive less calls now.

Call from Walgreen's Pharmacy. This is a new, free service to help patients refill prescriptions before they run out. It's called refill reminder. You get a call about 3 days before you should be refilling and are given the option to order your prescription(s) over the phone. If you wish to opt out of future calls, there is a prompt to press "8" during that call that will do so. The call will ask for your birthdate for privacy, but no other personal information. If you miss the first call, they call back later and leave a message.
