Turns out I filled out their form for free info on gold-backed retirement accounts and she wanted to confirm my address and customize the info based on my situation. Nice girl, I feel bad I was kind of rude at first. They look to be a good company and they only call people who requested info.
This is a precious metals investment company. We had a missed call from them so I called them back and spoke with a gentleman named Kenny. It turns out my wife had requested some free information on gold and they were calling us to confirm our mailing address. They don't make unsolicited outbound calls and only call people who have requested their free mail-out packet, but if you don't want the info you can just give them your name and they will take it off the list immediately.
