I tried "The Solution" by calling customer service from the LA Times. I told the rep we cancelled the paper after receiving numerous harassing calls when we didn't owe anything. The rep was apologetic but at the end of the call he tried to get me to sign up for a subscription! The calls stopped for a few days and now they are at it a***n. So annoying!

The people calling asking for money do not work for the LA Times, they are calling from a collection agency. Do not give them a credit card number or a bank routing number. They are on comission and get paid a percentage of the money they collect. I then called the number on the LA Times website, and I got the Phillipines. I insisted on speaking with someone in America. They gave me the direct number to billing at the LA Times. It is: 800-528-4637 x73464. This should work!

Stop calling me I have paid for my paper as a matter of fact just stop the service all together.
Calls several times a day and doesn't leave a message. I have tried calling the number back and get a busy signal. This is getting old and calls are through out the day.
It the LA Times billing dep't
repeated calls for three days from 800-316-4342 not in my menu so I never answered but, on google it says this number belongs to Magic Jack so****ing or another. I'm on the non-call list with my cell number so this is BS.
Calls at less once a day sometime 2X a day. Never leaving a message as to who they are. This get to be a nuisance
