Leave a CommentSome ******, a "Jane Smith," thought she made up a phone number to use for an on-line inquiry for health insurance. Well, that number happens to be my boss'. Eleven calls in 24 hours. Add that to the people calling for the weather - his number is 1 digit off - and it's been just peachy. Gee, it's SO rewarding being a secretary.
Hi! number called me this morning, silly me i gave my card number. what do i do to stop it?
Received a call from Richard, with America’s Health Brokers saying that he had received my online request for health insurance (which I never made). He also said that I had been approved for immediate coverage and that they were accepting all pre-existing conditions. Lucky me!I actually received 4 calls from this # but was only left a message once. I find it ironic that I received the calls the day after Congress approved the Healthcare Bill. Coincidence? I think not. My guess is that these people are running a scam trying to get some of your financial information or so****ing. I also say this because that same day I also received 14 calls from another company trying to sell me insurance.I will say this though, at least with Richard, the # he wanted me to call him at matched the # he called me from.

They called me everyday multiple times a day and never left a message.
Will, thanks for the tip.
Called twice. I programmed this number to ring on silent and "don't answer" if they call a***n.It is better to work with a local agent if you want to inquire about health insurance.
