they call and refuse to tell me the reason; they first ask for personal information.

I just recieved a phone call from a friend.  They called her and asked for my husband.  She told them she did not have a phone number but if she ran into us that she would give us the message.  How do they get your friends phone numbers?  We have spoken with them and told them our situation and that we do make payments when we can.

I am on the National Do Not Call list and they still called me from a local GA number...404-806-6731 claiming to be an important business opportunity. They will say anything on a message to get you on the phone. I did not respond to the message because I do not take kindly third parties handling my business, it never seems to get straightened out.  The call back number was 800-326-3446 which is how I discovered this was a collection agency.  If they keep it up, I will just c****e my number.

these nuts called my wife's mother asking for our phone number.  they used the ruse of referring to one of our past employees, as if this were regarding a job reference.  they are crooks.

Bill Wallace calling for a relative that does not live with me either. He would not provide any more details than that. He said it was of a personal matter. He did ask lots of questions about the who how and where

United Recovery....looks like a collector for Am X.  Some guy named Michael Foreman...(surely its not his real name)...he's rude! annoying and just looking for any info on employees he could dig up..............RUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDE.  Show some class dude if you want to collect some money.

Left a message saying they are United Recovery Systems. Anyone know what company they are calling for?

Jamie Wayner at 800-326-3446 x3060 called my place of work and my parent's business leaving messages for me to call them back. They said it was important I return their call but did not reference why or what company they were from.

I just received a call from United Recovery Systems, 800-328-3446 ext. 3281 Tamara Smith.  She called my brother-in-law's mother-in-law asking if she new me. That her husband's name (now deceised) was listed as a reference.  I didn't even know her husband's name. This company is invading people's privacy. Ms. Smith somehow got a hold of my cell phone number and called me, she didn't have my correct address and wanted personal information from me.  I refused to give her any personal information and told her I would call her back.

This company keeps calling my work, and goes in to details about an account that is my ex-wifes, they told operator that I owed them $$$, and they needed to talk to me, the name they use is URS limited partnership, 800-326-3446 x 3130. if they keep calling I will have no choice but ti file charges, this notice is for them too stop calling.

This company called leaving a message for my brother, who does NOT live with me, they even acknowledged they were calling his sister's house and to relay this "important" message to my brother to call them asap. my brother has no idea who they are or what they want.

They called asking for my boss. When I told them them he was not available and asked to take a message they said it was regarding "personal business". Then she said, "What exactly does he do there at the company?" Um,*****o! Private information.

They s****ed asking the secretary questions. I will use that they are in violation of the privacy act.

I have been advised by legal representation that they can not be calling your place of employment.  I was told to answer their call and remind them of that and that they are in violation of the privacy act.

they have begun calling me at work if they reach my voicemail - they hit "0" for our operator and will harass them to track me down they will also use our name directory to reach other employees and will ask them to speak to me I was out one day and the employee who got the call and took a message - they are using the tactic that they are calling for a business reference for a former employee

They call me all the time. They are a debt collector, and my debt is paid in full. They still call anyway. Maybe they just like the sound of my voice. I have****embled a list of the numbers they have used to call my cell phone, and my husband's cell phone. Yes, United Recovery Systems.  I****ume they are working for American Express.  I am on the road a lot.  They call my house several times a day leaving messages with pleas about how important it is for me to call them back.I call them back, and get their voice mail..  By the way, I don't owe anybody any money..  I was late with a payment, but the account is current..The are just another bottom-feeder and just the type of company American Express would be comfortable with.
