Leave a Commentcalls with recording saying they are Allied Interstate Debt Collection. Then their phone rings and you get disconnected. When you call them back you get a high pitch sound and a recording saying call can't be placed as dialed. I have no debts in collection so I don't know why they call!
This number called me, I didn't answer. I then called back and got the person on the other end to tell me she was "Allied Interstate", a financial services company. She insisted I give her my area code before she would tell me who she was. (I provided a different area code.)
keeps calling no message
won't leave a message, he number just shows on my caller id as toll free 800-326-8298. When I called the number I got a recording that it was Allied Interstate trying to collect a debt. I sat on hold listing to this recording for over an hour. I'm not waisting my time on a company that doesn't answer a phone or leave a message.
Some woman, with an Asian accent, asks for a person who is not of this number. She names my Step-dad's daughter who lives thousands of miles away, in the main land. Whom I have never in my life seen. What is that all about?
Calls around 8:am most mornings asking for someone who is not at this number. Wants to know when they will be here. I tell them the person is not at this number. I feel threatened by the calls as i am older and alone.
These people tried unsucessfully to get my parents credit card #!!!
I have gotten several calls from this number. Once I called the number back and was ***g up on. Today I answered the call, and the foreign man said they were trying to collect $2.48 that I owe on a Bank of America card. I told him I do not owe, my card is paid off. He argued with me for several minutes, even c****ing the story to a loan. I asked him if I owe how come he ***g up on me last time I called. He said they have had no calls from this number. I am tired of receiving phone calls from this number, usually once a day for several months now. I have googled this number and found several other similar complaints.
For the third time this week, a call for a former resident of the trailer in which I live, asking this time for Travis Remington. I told the woman that I live here alone and did not know the former residents. Apparently Allied Interstate Collections Agency a***n.
Man called and asked for Guy Mitchell. I told him my name and said this was my residence. He then said he must have the wrong number.
I found 800-326-8298 listed on my cell phone (which is NOT under my name) as a missed call, I called it back, a woman (no accent) asks 'how can I help you?'I said 'you called me", she then asks 'are you calling from the number we called', and 'is this (my name)?' I (dumb me) said yes.I ask who is calling me, she refused to answer, says she will transfer me to supervisor. Then a man (no accent) says they are Allied Interstate, says he can't find me in his records, claims he will remove my name from call list, chants a spiel about the call may be monitored...and ****s up.What the heck?
This number has called me the last two days. I am going to block my number and call him back and mess with him. Lets have fun with these telemarketers.
