Leave a CommentThis number has been autocalling a recorded message for 4 months to my place of business. Called ID only gave last 4 digits. Finally one day the entire the ID popped up. Called number to learn it was debt collector that was after a former employee. They removed our number from their database (we'll wait and see!)
Debt collector: Bureau of Collection Recovery.
Will not give billing address. Threatens reporting to a credit agency. Requests pay by check over the phone. Will not give me a mailing address to send payment!!!
3 days after I got my new telephone nember (6 weeks ago) I have been getting calls from BCR. Every Sunday a computer voice telling me to call 1 888 714 2338 and during the week either 2 women alternate or a guy with an indian accent. I tried to explain, that I am not the person they are looking for, but they do not really care, because they keep on calling me. Now I just **** up the phone and hope they get tired of it. The numbber is either 1-202 607 2749 or 1-202 607 2806 and the caller ID was BCR in the beginning and now says Dist. of Columbia
