Leave a CommentReceived a call from 1-800-333-5848. It is HSBC Mortgage Services. I have a mortgage with them and have had for years. Payment current and I called them back and they say they did not place the call. Is this their automation equipment randomly calling? Because if you call me and I return the call from the caller ID and you say you did not call it is now considered a false/prank call and will not be tolerated. These companies have to notate their phone calls even if it is automated. I marked as unknown spam as I do business with them but do not like wasting one hour of my day tracking down who called me to make sure everything is okay as computers can be trusted about as far as you can toss one. Only to find they say"We did not place the call." Well my caller ID says otherwise.

They call constantly. They s**** from 8am to 8pm. It's driving me insane. They're also extremely rude at times; and yes they are HSBC.
I got a call from this number and they said they were HSBC.
