This number calls frequently and ****s up when I answer. No message. Just ****s up!
caller i.d. has this number on it but they leave no msg. so we don't pick it up! Number is 1-800-338-6794.
Sears Home Repair feedback survey. I called back; without saying who they are, they prompt you for your home phone number. Once given, they identify themselves as a Sears survey on a recent repair.
Picked up the line..heard 2 clicks...it was clearly automated. No one there. Caller-id said "toll free call" An intentional fake caller id.
I accept calls from any valid caller-id... even if I don't like em. I do not like to be spammed in my home.
I called ATT about blocking, and they said they CAN"T as this is a pay for service by the 800 number. What about my rights?
Solution: let your computer monitor the line and "block" out unwanted calls. I use so****ing called Call Station on my computer (party-lined) to my phones. I have no monetary interest in call statiion... but any call I do NOT want is blocked at the 2nd ring. Other features as well...but since I'm not selling or buying. I'll leave it at that.

I have been getting called daily by this number for quite a time now. It always happens btw. 7-8pm or so on weeknights. So annoying!!
Sears should be honest enough to leave their caller ID when they call. The call comes in on ID as 800 service. I am sure this was a follow up call for a service they performed on a faulty product after reading the coments below.
This is an annoyance call; they call early in the morning, wake you up- don't leave a message and there is no way to identify who is calling (caller ID just says "unavailable")!
Got a call from Sears Repair Services.
It was Sears at 8:30 a.m. asking if I was satisfied with the repair service on a faulty product purchased and still under warranty.
