24 hour time limit
The caller's phone name was from Discover and he said he had detected fraud purchases on my account.
Called asking for my daughter. My phone # is not listed on her account. She called Discover back directly & there was no issue. Scammer with ability to have the name of "Discover" show on caller ID. Beware!
This caller is Discover a fraud Department. But, if you are worried, just call Discover and explain situation and they will forward you to their fraud department.
Student loan collector
I'm su****ious of this call being legitimate for 2 reasons. It is hidden behind several caller ID's based on other callers reports. The second being, if they are upfront and honest, then they KNOW we don't have any credit cards at all. Be alert about this caller.
SCAM caller supposedly from discover card. Several calls in 5 days.
It is Discover fraud dept and it is legit. I did not pick up when they called. I called them back on the number on the back of my card. I used my card last night and typed in the wrong zip code and had to have the cashier RE enter it for me. They just called to verify the transaction.
