message from discover card with callback number. they want me to set up auto pay. no thanks

I don't even got a discover card. Called me about 7 times now.

I actually work at Discover Card and give out this number all day long for customers to call me back.Actually, we are trying to contact customers to have them set up auto pays, so we can lower their interest or help them get below their line of credit.  IT IS NOT A SCAM.  The fraud representativewho told you it is a scam, needs to call the number and find out or be reprimanded for giving false information.  Thanks!

This number called me at 8:43 am and didn't leave a voicemail. Hate these numbers!!!

Just did a live phone chat with Discover Card.  Its them.  Trying to sell "card protection" so to speak.Just now put the number on my phone system's call rejection list.  Best $2 a month I've ever spent!

Discover Card. Called because I had not used my card in a while then I had a transaction online at a place I never had before. Over the years Discover has called me several times when I had a large transaction or out of town charges. They have a proactive fraud department. Not overly intrusive but annoying at times.

Got voicemail from these guys and I was su****ious as soon as I heard the message. I DO happen to have a Discover card, but there's nothing wrong with the account. SCAM!!!!!!!!!! Filed a complaint with the Do NOT Call registry (I re-signed up my # awhile ago). Watch out!

I'm sure it is Discover Card, because I just got off a chat with a representative at their website, and I was given this number to call in order to discuss my account, and as I was curious to see if they would keep on calling me forever after I call them first I googled the number and found this thread. And just for the record: NO, I do not work for w***ver owes this number.

Just called Discover at their actual number to follow up and make sure everything was okay, no messages waiting for me and my account is fine nor overdue. This one's a scam. Make sure to call them so they can let the fraud department know.

Just said they had an important message the first time they called me and have not left a voicemail in the four subsequent calls since then.

These people keep calling my backline at my office. I finally called the number back and waiting for a person. It is Discover Card. They said they would remove my number. We shall see if it happens or not.

It's Discover Card.  They called me to advise that I was nearing my credit limit.  I appreciate calls like this as I had not used my card in over 3 months and someone else was using it!

I do not want any calls from any company unless it is about specific business between me and the company; I do not want solicitation at my home. These people from this number have called but have not left a message stating why they are calling.

They say they are Discover.  I called Discover since I have an annount with them and they do not know this number.  I am pretty sure it is a scam and do not answer any of their questions, just **** up!

Calls all the time. Never leaves message. And calls all hours day and night. Who does this number belong too?

Discover card calling everyone in my family , Even though they know my correct address . This is illegal so if you have a DISCOVER card these are the things they will do to you .I have requested VALIDATION of this account over and over . They simply ignore my request ,and employ other illegal efforts to collect on a debt they refuse to prove I owe .

STOP the unknown. Leave a message. I DO NOT answer unknown or 1-800 numbers

Listed as unknown and no one is there when you answer. I am not waiting on a ma****e to talk to me.

I have received calls from this number before and when I answered I was asked for a name that I did not know. I told them it was not me and they ***g up. I have verified the number as belonging to discover card it is legitimate. I called the number an automated voice will greet you and ask you to submit the last 4 numbers of your account, since I do not have an account I entered 0 four times and was transferred to a representative. I explained to him I was receiving calls at home and do not have an account, he verified the number they were calling and gave me the name of the person they were trying to reach. I told them it was not me, he apologized and said he would immediately remove my number, he said if I received another call to disregard it because the number has to be removed from the automated dialing system but that my number was being removed from their system.

This is a scam.  It is not discover card.  After speaking with their fradu department, they are trying to get you to give your account info to them..*****, they called me and I don't even have a Discover CArd.

Some East Indian guy. I recognized the fone# & I never gave him a chance. I told him I did not want a Discover card and all of our landline & cellphone #s were in the National Do-Not-Call Registry and ***g up. Torques me bad. Telemarketers are not afraid of violating the Do-Not-Call list anymore.

call and do not leave msg, I work 2nd shift and cannot sleep when I get this annoyance. I have the cell phone by my bed incase my wife or chirldren have an emergency. please tell them to stop calling me!!!!!!!!!

this is not a complaint just wanting to verify when i called the # it is in fact discover card.

I dont know how they got my number but calls like this are just simply an annoyance.

calling all day long. No answer when I get the call

I have received 2 calls from this number now and each time I answer an AVR tells me I'm on hold and that my call is important. I have never managed to speak to anyone on this number and I don't own a discover card so I have no idea why they would be calling me.
