Got a text message saying "Discover Card: We just approved $56.01 at Paypal Langehair. Crazy thing: I don't have a Discover Card. 800 is the same as Discover, so I didn't reply. Called Discover and there was no charge, so I****ume replying to the message would have not been smart.

Discover texted me a Yes/No type question about a bogus transaction. Someone did try to use my card and that was Discover calling to verify. I'm happy they did.
The only real problem was that the voice message was spoken so fast that if it had not been left on my cell phone I would have had no idea as to who called or why.
Keep getting calls and they don't leave a message.
Received call for call back to 800-647-4996 after making a large credit card charge on my Discover Card. Called Main 1-800-Discover number who verified number 800# was valid.
Received call at my work phone to call 1-800-347-4996 about possible unwanted charges. This was truly Discover. Call the main number off your Discover card to verify!
