Check with your local BBB and find out they are on the list of collection agencies people complain about also its a***nst the law to call u at work they can be fined tell them to stop calling and u will take them to court .works for me everytime

Several times a week, I receive a call where an automated female voice states they are calling from CBE Group looking for an Emmanuel Garcia.  I am not this person.  I have never known anyone by this name.  I am a woman who happens to share two initials with this person. Once, I stayed on the line thinking I could talk to a real person and inform them of the mistake.  But the voice said if I continued the call, I would be admitting that I am this Emmanuel Garcia, so I got scared and ***g up.  I suspect, especially after reading other emails, that CBE is the company that calls when my husband & I are at work and just leaves a click on the answering ma****e.  EVERY day.  Is there any way I can get them to stop calling, especially since I am not the man they are looking for?  (And at this point I feel sorry for Emmanuel Garcia.)

It's a collection call.  Either A) You owe money to Verizon Wireless/MCI or B) They have the wrong number due to a faulty skip trace or C) Someone GAVE your number to them to avoid debt.

turns out to be a collection agency working on behalf of Verizon Wireless.
