Same
Same thing call me liar and etc
Call NCO on their 800 number after 5pm, blocking your number. *671-800-220-2274. You'll get an automated response that continually loops. Every minute on the line costs them money. I have a second line, called them 7 hours ago, and placed the call on hold. It's still on (it's 1AM now). Tomorrow, before 9am, I will ****up. That's 15 hours of 800 number minutes that THEY get billed for. If we all do this, they might get the message.
These people have called my home and work and left messages telling me to call them back. They have also called my 87 year old mother doing the same. All of my accounts are current so I sent them a certified letter telling them I wanted them to provide me with verification of the debt and telling them to cease telephoning my home, work and mother. The Fed Fair Debt Col Practices Act says they have to do this. They haven't and the calls have continued. I just sent them a letter telling them that if these calls do not immediately cease and they do not provide me with verification then I will sue them. Apparently people have done so before: http://www.paed.uscourts.gov/do***ents/opinions/09d1288p.pdf
These people have been calling me as well. Male with an indian accent, screaming in the phone to return a call to them. He mentioned a company that begins with the letter Z, that I cannot remember. I know North S**** Agency is part of NCO. NCO has no business ethics-they use many different numbers to call you and possible operate under different names. Anyway, I will do no such thing. This person has now s****ed calling my cell phone. I don't know who this is and will admit that I have outstanding debts but require everything in writing. The nerve of this person. Can barely speak fluent English. TIP--when you do not recognize a telephone number, go and try to google it. I do it all the time. If someone calls and don't recognize the number at home on my landline, I don't answer it.
Same as above, they have called her 25 times- complete hassle, we have no outstanding debts, they have the wrong person and still they call. I'm filing a complaint and each 0should as well, put them out of business!
These people called me ten times today; even though, I have told them that I am not the person they are looking for. One of their representatives called me a liar.
Called several times over several days now looking to collect debt from someone who does not liver hear. I asked them to remove my number from their directory as it is a listed number with my name for over 5 years now.The caller (Indian accent) records my comments and says that this is the first time they call and will remove my number. Identified as NCO Finance
Have called my home number 5 times in the last 2 days (over Memorial Day weekend)identifying themselves as a collection agent (female voice) but no name of company. Request is that I return their by calling a different number and having a account number of "********x" of which I have no record. Sounds like a iden***y collection business.
They called my home phone, asked for someone with a similar na*****ey would not identify themselves, or why they were calling.Demanded that a certain individual call them immediately.Reported the HARASSMENT to Better Business Bureau, www.bbb.org
These people keep calling and asking for someone that does not live here. I have told them that on one lives here with that name but they keep calling. Now they are calling on Sunday. They left a message today that it is nco financial a collection agency.
This indian guy keeps calling and gives a reference number and calls on sunday and says this is an attempt to collect a debt. Now I have to check caller ID before answering my phone because he is insistent. What can be done the company is NCO financial.
Indian guy says he's a Quality & Compliance Officer needing to talk to an individual who I don't know and doesn't live here. Gets insistant and mean. Gives ref# number for call back. Doesn't believe me when I tell them they have wrong number... that person is unknown to me
I have also recieved calls from this number (it showed up as "Unknown", but I asked to call back 800-350-2457). In my case it was an Indian man who claimed he was calling from NCO regarding a past credit card debt. I've never had any such debt and could only reach an answering ma****e when I called back to inquire about this false message. I've read some bad things about this caller number since then; do not give them your name, SSN, or ANY OTHER INFO! They will add it to their file for future calls.
Have no idea how they got my number but would like to see them in person!
keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone and they don't have the *** to leave a message
Calls at least twice a day.
See previous post about J.C. Christenson and****ociates/NCO.
The same thing...and Indian woman's voice says they are a collection agency and knew mine and my husband's names. Said this was about collecting on an old debt. She knew the last 4 digits of my husband's SSN. Claimed we owed over $8000 on American Express card from 10 years ago. We refinanced and paid all open balances on all credit cards at that time and thought there was an AMEX card, the balance was not very high. I think they got ahold of some old card and data information and are trying to scam people. Since my husband is in his 70s, I think they are targeting older people.
A message was left by a man with an Indian accent and he claimed it was regarding "very important business". It was very su****ious and I have found on other websites that they try to get your social security number. Be careful if you get this number. Most ligitimate business don't operate this way.
They have called a couple of times and this morning left a message on our answering ma****e. I have never spoken to the callers. They are asking for the person that used to live in our house. The former owner is now IN JAIL and never had this phone number. How did they put this address with our phone number? They call very early in the morning. It was a woman with a thick accent that spoke VERY fast--I have no idea if it was Indian or not, but definitely not American.
Did not call them back but it was obviously coming from a call center. They knew my name, gave id code D****9, and extension 52493
