The lady doesn't say she is a debt collector but does reference a file number. They are pretty persistant. Three calls back to back. I can hold out longer than them, many have tried and failed in the past. Good to know I'm not the only one

Left message said that there was a inden***y theft matter, which i dont' believe so. then i tried to find the info online and searched similiar events happened to others.

They keep calling for my son who does not live here and has not lived at this address for 5 years. They asked for his number, he does not have a home phone. but the calls keep coing

Calling neighbors over a long time settled debt. Person on the phone states it's an emergency. How is this legal?

UCB breaks the law everytime they tell anone other than the person who owe's the debt detail. Write down everytime they call and what they say. If they state they will sue call the orginal company and see if they can. If not hire an attorney.Contact Jeffery Hyslip at

Oh man., I finally got "Ken Hughes" off my back. Now these guys. I don't owe anyone any money, period. It seems they just go through the phone book and call everyone with a name. I feel sorry for those who don't understand what's really going on. The cease and desist letter will be mailed on Monday...

These people are crasy. They are breaking the law. They are criminals. They are treatining you with court and legalle actions. They call thousand times, for a long time. It is time to put these people in jail.

Unknown company wants us to return call when we haven't heard from the party trying to contact us for two years. They don't keep in touch.

These people called my mother and asked to speak to my ***her. He passed away six years ago. They claimed it was an urgent matter and that they have been trying to get ahold of me.Both of those statements are lies. If it's urgent why are their records at least 6 years out of date? I have had the same phone number for 20 years and they aren't calling me. They are trying to upset my elderly mother as a collection tactic for a debt I may or may not be liable for. This ****es me off.I will be sending a cease call letter and will call them directly to cease calls while recording the conversation. First I will notify them that the call is being recorded and see what happens.
