Leave a CommentRipoff when I bought a Proflowers 2/16/2008 item. They claim that I signed off my name, because they had the address. Since then they charged me 14.95 every month. They s****ed 05/30/2008.I thought it was a charge of the E-ZPass acoount and I paid no attention. Well I called the bank and made a complaint. They are going to issue a refund, but only 2009. You see anything longer cannot be recovered, because I did not complain in time.BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING FLOWERS.
I just looked at my credit card statement today and for the life of me could not figure out what EZsaver was. I found this site (phoneownerinfo) and remembered I bought flowers from Pro Flowers for mothers day. So now I have this charge for absolutely nothing. I called the number ready to give them***** and surprisingly a live person answered who I could understand. It is a membership service when I ordered flowers I clicked that I would like to have a discount not knowing that it cost money. For the first 15 days it cost $1.95, then it goes up to $14.95 to be a member. Well I called and canceled it without too much of a problem. I think they let me cancel because if they didn`t there would be so many people ****ed off at these sneaky little s**ts they would not have a business in the first place.
BEWARE! This is a company some how affiliated with ProFlowers.com. When a customer submits an order to ProFlowers, a screen comes up with the option of 'Free Shipping'. The free shipping in ONLY good towards purchases made after the initial purchase, NOT your current purchase. After I called the company and they informed me I would be reimbursed for the charge, they failed to credit my account AND charged me a***n!!! This time for $10.95!!! REDICULOUS!!!
Same thing happened to me. They only charged me 1.95, but they refused to refund the money because it was a "shipping charge" for so****ing that had already been shipped. When I asked what was being shipped to me, they said nothing was. This is such a scam. It's not that I really care about the 1.95, I just don't like that a company gave out my private information without my consent. I've read of many complaints of people saying that this happened to them but after they called to cancel their "membership" to Easy Saver, they still got charges from them or another partner company, sometimes both. So I will keep up with my accounts.Don't bother calling Proflowers about it, they just read off of a script and say that you have to deal directly with Easy Saver to get any refund. They refused to admit that they gave my account information to Easy Saver until I got the manager on the phone and began to threaten legal action. They won't stop this behavior until there is a class action lawsuit or they just loose enough customers to be forced out of business.
Same thing. Ordered flowers from Pro Flowers and now get an unauthorized $14.95charge every month. Luckily my bank took care of the charges. Do not use Pro Flowers!
I too have now received a charge on my card for 14.95 in February after having flowers sent in December.I have no idea what this is for and am just s****ing what seems to be a long slog.Seeing the many letters on the complaints page really allerted me so thanks for the service. Jean
They will only credit you for up to 2 months back. It is through proflowers. Watch your account if you order anything from them. As a matter of fact, DO NOT ORDER FROM PROFLOWERS AT ALL !!!!!
This is a third party company that automaticly signs you up when you order flowers from PROFLOWERS. They give you 30 trial then s**** charging after 30 days $14.95 a month. It's a scam. Just called PROFLOWERS and confirmed. They called easy saver while on hold and had it cancelled w/refund of 5 months in charges. I also called Charge card company and learned that they have received many complaints about same. Watch your statements..........I'm done with ProFlowers.......
I just called disputing the charge, and my credit card company credit my account and reissued me a lost credit card so that I will not have recurring charges.I wished that I had googled these guys first. I will never use ProFlowers a***n.Thanks for posting!!!
Last year I used the internet to order flowers for Grandma on Mothers Day. I ordered them from Pro Flowers. It was not a good experience and I decided never to use them a***n. I thought this was the end of it; but it wasn't! I noticed a charge of $14.95 on my Discover card statement today. The charge was from from "Easy Saver 800-355-1837 Pa." for $14.95. I****umed it was for so****ing my wife bought and was about to pass over it when so****ing about it seemed familiar. I then used the Quicken search function to see if we had been shopping there before. To my surprise these guys have been billing me $14.95 a month for over a year and I had****umed every time it was from a small business for sundry items.A Google search of "Easy Saver 800-355-1837 Pa" revealed numerous complaints. Apparently there is some fine print****ociated with clicking the free shipping coupon that explains you will be charged monthly for an Easy Saver Rewards subscription. If you don't call them right away they only refund a month or two of payments. I called the above Easy Saver number, but they take the weekend off. I called Discover to report the problem. Before I had finished explaining what happened, she told me they had followed up on numerous similar complaints and found out that what Easy Saver and Pro Flowers was doing is totally legal. She told me all I could do was call the Easy Saver number and ask for a cancellation and refund. Check all your credit card (and bank statements if you use a debit card) for a $14.95 charge. If the payee****ociated with it contains a phone number you have probably been had. Especially if you have ever used Pro Flowers.
I am one of those people who really do not look at their bank statements and I guess this company has been taking 14.95 out of my account since July and now it is November. I called them and they said that I sign up for it with the coupon that Pro Flowers gave me (I did not use or sign up for the coupon). The lady also told me that I recieved an e-mail from them one hour after I signed up for it giving me the terms and conditions. Ummm... I didn't get an e-mail from them. If I would have I would have ended the account right then and there. These people make me feel ******. I am going to try to get the money back I hope I do. I will never use Pro Flowers a***n, and on top of that the flowers were for my mom and they showed up dead 3 times!!!
no one is calling me, but i see they are charging me two separate payments of $16.95 per month since july. there are two phone numbers listed next to the charge of Easy Saver 1800-262-6199 MD and American Leisure 1877-564-8538 MD. we have called to complain to which they say, we have cancelled as of (it's the day after they have charged us $16.95 twice), how convenient for them. but a***n we see those two charges come yet a***n next month. i intend to call my credit card company and see if i can block those charges; otherwise i cancel that credit card.
I have also had the same issue with PROFLOWERS the representive that answered the phone said "when you put your email address in it gives you discounts but it charges you 14.95 per month" WHY!! THis is SAD, this is the first and the last time i will order from PROFLOWERS.. How do you give somebodies information to a 3 party to charge a fee....
if you buy flowers from Proflowers they will give your credit card number to a third party, Easysaver, and they will charge you 14.95 a month for a bogus membership. If you give them your email and ask to receive future specials they will charge you a monthly fee. Its fraud. Don't deal with ProFlowers ever. Very deceptive business practices.
yup Pro-flowers. I saw the charge and said it was from a $15 discount from an online purchase. I don't recall any of that so i told them so and asked for my money back and they did so without a fight. May be a scam but at least they don't give a hassle.
this is a scam company****ociated with PRO Flowers, if you enter a email address saying you want to be notified when your flowers are delivered you are "signed up" for this scam. and $14.95 will be withdrawn from your account. You have to be nasty and diligent to get this processed stopped. easy saver and pro flowers are running a SCAM - don't ever do bus. with any company that is****ociated with either one of these operations.
I never clicked on ANY box to sign up for ANYTHING from this pro-flowers place. They still charged me ANYWAY.
Apparently this is a charge related to pro flowers as I only have the charge when we ordered flowers. No more flowers for me.
and just think how many people do not notice this happening to their bank accounts. thank god i caught this quickly
Same thing happened here. Someone who is authorized to use our company charge bought flowers from PROFLOWERS & sent them out of state to two locations, and the charges just kept coming...$14.95 one month & 14.95 the next from Easy Saver 800-355-1837. We figured out what was happening by finding this page when we searched the info on the bill ie Easy Saver 800-355-1837
Unauthorized charges from EZ saver. I have never heard of this company! And now I am paying for so****ing? I would like to know what but I am unable to get anyone to cancell what ever it is.
It in relation to proflowers.com. EASYSAVER is a rewards program that is supposed to offer discounts. You will first notice a problem when $1.95 is charged, followed by $14.95. If you call the number that is listed on your bank statement and complain, they will return the money. Tell them that you didn't sign up for any savings program, I am sure the get the calls all the time because she was quick to rectify the situation.
You clicked a check box that said "give me 15.00 off coupon and sign me up for this service"They trick you by telling you to save money.Buyer beware - don't blindly click!
I had the same thing happen to me through ProFlowers. I called Easy Saver and the rep I got on the phone said their computers were down but as soon as they came back up she would cancel my "membership" - a membership I never even authorized!!! I also canceled my credit card and disputed the charge with the credit card company.
Warn everyone you know NOT to buy flowers from Proflowers.com. Pro Flowers is selling/sharing customer credit card numbers to 3rd parties who are charging anywhere from $1.95 to $99.95 per month for scam ProFlowers-related memberships. I just got off the phone with my bank, disputing the charges. They charge under different company names hoping people will miss it. “Easy Saver” is the most prominent. I just finished filling out and printing online State Attorney General and BBB complaint forms a***nst Pro Flowers for each occurance.
Unauthorized charge. Called number and they reversed it.
On March 17, 2008 I called EZ Saver regarding unauthorized charges to my mastercard since May of 2007. I asked for a mailing address of the company where I could write a letter, I was given the run around and was given no address. For over 15 minutes on the telephone I finally was told that when I purchased Pro-Flowers on-line in May, I authorized the charges. I was finally asked what I wanted and I relayed I wanted a credit made. I contacted my credit card company and will be working with them. In the meantime, EZ Saver credited three payments of $14.95 to my credit card. These are charges made in February and March 2008. However, I will pursue the unauthorized charges to my credit card to May 2007.
