Leave a CommentIt’s a real number. Just call navyfed and verify.
They knew personal info and told me the info to verify they were legit. Problem for them was Navy Fed does not do that!
They sent a text claiming to be with my bank, NFCU, over an apparent fraudulent charge to my card which they had the last four numbers of. They when you respond to the text they call, I didn’t answer so they left a voicemail leaving this number and another behind. It’s fake. They’re not****ociated with NFCU and they leave an automated voicemail.
It is NFCU being proactive a***nst fraud. I didn't call the number but I did call them on a number I trust and they said it was them. It is a safe number
They claim to be navy fed, but it doesn't match the number on their website. it is a scam.
It's from Navy Federal Credit Union and they were calling to verify debit card activity. It's a valid call.
I also received a message stating strange activity on my debit card. This phone number did not match any numbers at my bank, so I went there and my bank said that the phone number was not connected with their bank. They also said they would have blocked my card, not try to call me for two days. Beware!!
I got a voicemail from this number today. It was a recorded message from my bank about some recent check card activity and they told me to call 1-800-355-5096. It sounded like a scam, but I called my bank directly and it was a valid call. They were questioning some charges and wanted to make sure I had used the card for them and that the card hadn't been stolen.
No message left. Do not know who called me.
