Leave a CommentThese guys are calling me every day and pretend to be affiliated to Master Cards-Automated Service trying to get some personal info. Please be carefull
I received a telephone call on my cell phone. I didn't answer it. I then conducted an Internet/google search for this number and learned this is a questionable/spurious number. I found this Web site and decided I would file a complaint.
My number is on the national do not call registry, and these people keep calling - automated ma****e answers and wants to sell me warranty coverage for my car.
They call several times a day, but **** up when my message ma****e comes on.
Automatic (misleading) message says my car "warranty" is about to expire. When I wait to speak to a representative, they always **** up when I ask for business info.
Call all hours day or night, no one on other end.
They call all hours of the day or evening, **** up.
calling a personal cell phone
keeps calling
Telling me we had an add with them. I told them no, don't call a***n. The have a heavy accent. I just ***g up.
Today I got a total of 6 calls and when I answered it there is ***ody. I just called them and asked to remove my cell number from there list
Have had REPEATED CALLS over past t****lus weeks!!! So maddening!!! No msg when my ans. picks up, no person the few prior times I've answered and several times I just picked up, then do a quick disconnect without saying "Hello." Today I answered and after a few seconds of silence, a person came on asking if this was xyz business. I told her that her number has been calling my number for weeks and to take this number off their list. Then a barrage of questions asking how I know it's her number calling me (gee, heard of caller ID?), if this is xyz business, if I was the business owner, was I the decision maker. This interrogation was repeated in slightly different wording two or three times and I told her that IT DOESN'T MATTER--TAKE THIS NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST!! I don't understand the purpose of these calls--when someone (moi) asks to be taken off the list, it's a guaranteed "no sale," so why do they persist? The do not call list means NOTHING and they do not "go away" if you just ignore them!
These people have been calling twice daily and **** up when I answer. I called them back and asked them nicely to quit calling. It didn't work.
This number calls and does not leave a message.
They keep calling my cell and I don't answer. Of course they don't leave a message. I have another scam artist calling my home number daily. I did report them to the FCC, for whatever that's worth. I have both numbers on a donotcall register. What a nightmare!
We're on the National Do Not Call list but they keep calling. No one speaks.
I received at least 2 call from 800-361-8354 on 07-03-08 and 07-09-08. I picked up the phone but ***ody was speaking (just silence)
they have called in the same group several times demanding our address, name, credit card and bank info and refusing to stop after being asked. They record info as does #866)488-4299,800)220-1327,877-0269,603)501-100,603)222-9000,505)565-5022,877)486-1286,505)349-5690 www./superiorwebconcepts.com and charge your phone $49.99 and credit card $11.89. Record ALL of these unwanted calls and recipicate them with your bank, credit card and phone bill each month!
don't give them any info. another site said they record the conversation and then uses parts of it to form some kind of acceptance on your part and charge it to your phone bill.
They've called several times in the past few weeks; often two or three times in a day. They claim to be updating information for a directory of some sort. Very thick accents are hard to understand.
It is LiveDeal.com who is calling I think. There person responsible is Mario. He can be reached atIf he does not pick up, you can probably have him paged. Ph: (800) 977-6038 x2899Fax: (800) 305-****It is an 800 number. So he would be happy to hear how his campaign is being received.

I looked up the parent company on, Live Deal, on WHOIS (see below). I have been receiving the same calls... daily for the last 4 days. I never, ever confirm anything over the phone. I have reported the last 2 calls on the Do Not Call. Hopefully they will be fined. For those annoyed by the calls here is the phone information for the company I got off of the WHOIS registry, 480-654-9646. Daily calls; no answer; Called the number - Yellow Pages Ad Update (to which I have no ad or interest). They were asked, a***n, to stop the calls
Same as everything above - middle eastern accent; need to update business listing; calling from yp.com - except the number they called is my residence, not a business. I told him I had seen a bunch of stuff on the internet about their "scam" & to remove my number immediately.
They told me they were with my local phone book just updating, wasn't until the automated thing came on that it CLEARLY stated they were NOT affiliated and that I would incur these same charges everyone else is complaining about. The guy came back on the line and I told him that I did NOT want anything to do with this or the charges. I immediately called back the "customer service #" he gave me, and guess what!? It was HIM! I ***g up and emailed every email I could find on YP.com and told them they better not charge me! My business is not on the do not call list, but it will be now!

I called them 6 times in 30 minutes, until they were really upset. It old them they now understand how I feel.
Some ***** at the number 800-361-8354 has called my business several times but has never replied when I answer the phone. From the comments of others recorded above, this is apparently some sort of a scam and needs to be tracked down and eliminated.
More uesless scams.
I will ****** these people if they call me a***n.
Got 2 calls from these guys in the last week. They just ***g up on my answering ma****e. I'm on the do not call list so I reported them today.
person called from 18003618354 stating they needed to verify our business information. I told her i was not interested, she was rude, and ***g up...i called the number back and a person who answered identified himself as customer care...i asked what company he was with and he said yellow pages..i told him to take me off their list and that i had reported them to the do not call registry..i then called yellow pages to see if they were indeed yellow pages..they are not****ociated with yellow pages and yellow pages will be investigating the use of their name in this scam.
Thats the pukes at the "Yellow Pages" trying to tell you that "you must" give them info about your business. Then the *******s bill you for service you didnt want.
Heavy accented person calls frequently asking me to update my business information for local yellow pages that would not cost me anything & free internet listing service. I seemed to recall, like a idiot, I did this last year & sure enough they charged me $39.99 on my local telephone company bill. It took me around 6 months to have them take this amount off my bill - which eventually they did. Won't make that mistake a***n. Also, when I asked this woman what local yellow pages our number is in - she immediately ***g up. I have also gotten these calls from males too!! Never a***n - please do so****ing about these annoying, lying people.
I've seen this number come up on the caller id twice already this morning. It sounds like they might be getting our info because we're small business owners?? How can we get them to quit calling?
Some Swahili-sounding goofball calls several times a week, always while I'm at work, wanting to give us some kind of extra free listing for $39.99, gets very rude with my family and will never call after-hours when I'm home.
Same heavily accented person. Kept asking me to confirm information that he said was already 'on file' with his company. He is trying to get me to sign up for a "free internet listing" of the business where I am receiving the calls. he wants to 'confirm' your info, sign you up for your 'free' listing, and then charge you $39.99 next month for the listing.
Same heavily accented person. Kept asking me to confirm information that he said was already 'on file' with his company. He is trying to get me to sign up for a "free internet listing" of the business where I am receiving the calls. Very coaxing. Towards the end of the conversation he put me on hold and I happen to know that he then called an automated surveying number that prompts you with questions and then records your answers.Bottom Line: he wants to 'confirm' your info, sign you up for your 'free' listing, and then charge you $39.99 next month for the listing.I even asked him at one point," Is responding 'Yes' to any of these questions going to result in me being billed ANY amount of money?" He said no. Later the recording he had me talk to confirmed that he was lying and I ***g up on him.Total jack***.
This heavily-accented person became very rude when I told him I was on the "Do Not Call" list. He said, "Well, what do you have a phone for?" I said it was to make calls out, not to receive calls from idiots like him, and I ***g up.
The person called with a very thick foreign accent asking to confirm information about my business. I declined to help them and they told me that I was breaking federal law by not parti****ting with them. I ***g up on them.
