Leave a CommentA Mr Fitzgerald called and said I had entered a drawing for a new car and I was chosen. He wanted me to call this number.I know this is a scam.I tried calling him and kept getting a busy signal and finally when I did get thru the lady said he'd return my call but she needed my social security number. I'm smart enough to know not to give anyone on the phone my number. So If you get a call please do not give out your social security number to anyone.
I've been to the whole Pacific Monarch presentation before....and its nothing more than a shakedown for their timeshare stuff. I would say just skip it. While you are "guaranteed" a prize, its nothing more than a voucher for a few days at a hotel that you can't use for like a year or so, guaranteeing most people forget or lose them. The pressure they put on you is harsh...we told 4 people we couldn't afford what they were offering and they went as far as to tell me that if I loved my wife I would buy this for her. They then said someone would come over to sign us out, and he proceeded to pressure us even more. Total waste of an evening. Now they are calling me claiming to be the "Promotions Manager" of the Montclair Plaza mall.....I think not, thats false and misleading information.
Message from "Tyler Smith" from Pacific Monarch. ***nd new vehicle and $100k cash. Requests a call back for 1-800-368-1010.I didn't try calling the number, looks like they are a scam from what everyone is saying so I'm reporting them here.
My boyfriend got a call today from a 619 area code number. A lady left a message saying "Congratulations you have been selected from a drawing" that either you (my boyfriend's name) or jood (my name) entered, and that we were eligible to win a car or one of several prizes. She left her phone number (800-368-1010) and her extension, and said to call her back so that we could set up an appointment. I called the number and it was to Pacific Monarch resorts. It's a total scam!
