This is a law firm located in what appears to be San Diego, California. They especialize in collecting outstanding debts. Somehow they linked my name to a woman who is getting a divorce. I asked if she provided my information as a reference, but they will not provide me with any further information.
I keep getting calls from this number, but ***ody is ever there, dead air, then it ****s up on me..calls me 2-3 times a day...really beginning to **** me off. I have no outstanding debts...
Left a garbeled voicemail and when I called them to find out why they called me they pretended to be a law firm and asked me for my name and social security number to look that information up.I pro*****d and ***g up. Then they had the nerve to call me back and when my husband talked to them they denied to have asked for my social. I don't even have any dept in the first place, so there was no reason to call me. I find that highly su****ious.
Thanks Leo!
they call my house and my son answer being the gentleman he is he that i was not home he ask for their fax number and the lady said that they didnt have a fax she also said that they are a law firm but have no fax he ***g up on them because what law firm has no fax other than zwiker the sleeker
I am sorry that an attorney told you that Zwicker has not violated any laws. If Zwicker does not provide you with written proof of the sale of your account from your original creditor to them, this is a clear violation of the law. That attorney was lying to you! Zwicker will not provide written proof of ownership of the account because they do not want to admit that they were sold the account by your creditor. They have 30 days to provide this do***ent to you once you have requested it. You may also demand a copy of the original signed agreement between you and the creditor. (They never have this, so they cannot send it to you). Another violation of the law. If you send Zwicker any payments, demand copies of deposit records. Under the law, they MUST provide you with all do***ents that you request. This is a "don't ask don't tell" racket. But if you ask, they MUST tell; that is the law. They prey on people's ignorance, so educate yourself! Also, mail a "cease and d****t" letter to Zwicker demanding they stop contacting you by phone. If they continue contacting you, file a complaint with the FTC. So far I have filed two complaints with the FTC, and one with the Texas Attorney General's office. By the way, if you live in Texas your wages cannot be garnished and your personal property cannot be seized for collections on credit cards. Also, there may be additional rights based on your income, for exemple minimum wage recipients are exempt in some states. Do your research. If all else fails you can always file for chapter 7 bankruptcy. I have done it once already and plan to do it a***n. There is always a loophole, just keep digging and you will find it.
Hey Mr. Hayes, is this your get rich skeem? You basically are tell these people ' Hey it's ok to do so****ing as ****** as open up accounts in which you know that you can't pay then just don't pay them back. It's free money & they are just giving it away. Don't worry they can't touch you'. WRONG! Some of these people are fully aware of what they are doing & know they can't afford it but run up those credit cards anyway because they like to shop & spend & buy unnecessary things just because. The debt that they run up is their responsibility so pay up. And for you Mr. Hayes, all you going to do is buy them a little bit of time but cause them to pay more money that they already don't have unless you are providing your services for FREE? Of course your not so tell these people what they like to here & don't mention that they have to pay you costing them more money. They can either settle out their accounts or make monthly payments according to what they can afford. Besides it's not harassing phone calls when you are allowed under the FDCPA to call a debtor once a day every day. It's the people who owe the debt that are annoyed by it.
please stop him from calling me
if you send them the letter that I just post, they have to stop calling you if they don't you fill a complaint with the Federal trade commission...

I received a call from Zwicker and****ociates (Destiny) who informed me an account I held with Chase was transfereed to their office for collection. She said the balance (approximately $2900) was due in full. I explained to her that the only reason I was in "collections" was because Chase had mistakenly removed me from a DMP I was on with them and refused to put me back on it. (2 representatives listened to the phone conversation I had with a previous****ociate stressing that I did NOT want to be removed from the program. 1 sided with me and the other did not, so I guess that means I lose.)Chase had also debited my checking account after I called and stopped auto payment because of financial problems. This served to put us even further behind!Destiny took all of my financial info over the phone and then informed me that I did not qualify for monthly payments. I told her I did not have the full amount, so she told me the "attorneys" would continue with collections. I said okay since I had no alternative. Fast forward a week and I receive another call from Zwicker. (I still had not received any do***entation from this company at this point.) I was forwarded to Destiny and her opening line was, "So, are you going to pay anything on this account?" I said I was confused as our last conversation led me to believe that my only option was payment in full. She told me that isn't what she had said (however, it was) and that I needed to "make a reasonable payment-not $50 here or $75 there..." I explained a***n why I was even in this situation in the first place and she said she didn't care. I still owed money and it didn't matter that my husband had lost his job and we had medical bills that were not covered by insurance. I said that I was not disputing that I owed the balance, but I couldn't make the high payments being demanded. She said, "you are in this mess because you charged $300 on your card and didn't pay it." I demanded to speak to her supervisor and she said, "it would make my day for you to speak to my supervisor." Her supervisor "Paul" was just as warm and fuzzy and educatied as she was. His valuable advice...ask a friend or family member to co-sign for a loan so I can pay this debt off. I have contacted an attorney, but unfortunately they have not violated any law-they are just ignorant. Not sure what is going to happen from here...
I got a call on the answering ma****g and returned it as I get these frequently because of my common last name. They kept on insisting that I give them my social to figure out who I was and got irate when I said I did not even know who they were and could be iden***y theives. They said they would continue to call unless I told them the number.
Threatened to lien my home and garnish my wages. Stated unwillingness to work with credit solutions to reolve credit issues.
These people called me and told me that I HAD to pay them in full that day. They wouldn't even let me get off the phone to call my husband and talk it over with him. This guy was a total ****!!! He asked me about my income tax, exactly how much i'd be getting back, and told me that I would be dealing with the law soon. He was the biggest **** i've EVER talked too. All I know is that if you get a call from these people...don't play their games!
Represented themselves as a law firm that has been retained to file suit a***nst me.

Called me at work. I cann not receive personal calls at work.
My brother gave out our number (instead of his cell phone #) and they have been hounding us. They will not leave any messages, their call back information and they **** up when you try to talk to them. If they are really sincere in collecting their debts, they should leave messages so that the debtor can call them back and arrange to repay them. Laws being what they are, they call us about once an hour from 8AM until 9PM. It's gotten so bad that I can't even answer my own phone. I get a lot of international phone calls that show up unlisted so I have to answer those calls. It's really frustrating that I want to get my brother to return the calls, but I can't even tell him who is calling. I only found out because I tried *69 the number (not available) and I confronted my brother to do so****ing about it.
These ******s have been hounding me because my cell phone's number was previously held by a deadbeat. I have had the phone for over 3 years. I've been receiving the calls for 6 months, causing me to run for the phone from the bathtub, from a sick bed at times, calling at work and wasting my call minutes. AND I HAVE PERFECT CREDIT!!! I have called them numerous times attempting to be removed from the list. The reps are low-class, grimy *****chusetts white trash, surly, rude and *******ted. The owner, Paul Zwicker, attended a third tier (read: couldn't get admitted to even a HALF-decent school)) law school --- no surprise, as brilliant legal minds don't go into the collections biz, haha. They stress that they are a law firm whose "primary focus is collections" (what's secondary, Cons***utional law, hehe?) Despite their obfu****ion, they are registered as a collection agency. There are numerous references to their shady business practices all over the web. I'm not sure if there is a family connection, but one Kenneth Zwicker was disbarred for reasons involving questionable m**** turpitude, so it sounds about right, anyway. There are several judgments a***nst Zwicker****oc., which are easily located. It has been such a nightmare being an innocent victim of these lowlife goons, that I have utmost empathy for those in financial straits who are hounded by Zwicker. I have read many anecdotes of ******, dishonest behavior (quel surprise!) and I would suggest that anyone contacted by Zwicker immediately seek help from a reputable debt consolidator to act as intermediary; these are a nightmare, worst-of-both-worlds: repo-shysters and are not to be trusted.
made a lot of treats and would not prove i may owe anyone so****ing. when i asked them to send me a letter stating who and what i owed i got a gilt trip on not paying my bill.
they said they would take any PAIN involved to collect the debt
they would take any pain involved to collect the debt
