This person called me and I do not know this person.please show me him
Scam! pose at AT&T rep - try to collect for my Google-voice number ;-)
I got another call from this number today. The person said that he was from AT&T. I notice that some comments mention auto pay. The business I work for only pays by check and is never delinquent on bills. No one in our organization has contacted them with any type of problem or any type of service. The owner is the only one who would contact them for a change in service or to add additional phones. I wish people like this would leave people alone.
This is a scam and the sammers are using this website to attempt to make their telephone number credible.
Called, regarding our over due ATT account, I would say legit. Just wanted to tell us our account was overdue and because we were using autopay and the card got declined, autopay was disabled. Didn't ask for any personal information and actually offered to give me my account number for reference.
Rc'd a call from 800-380-1196. Claimed to be a Joe from AT&T with an acct number. Already suspicious I called and referenced the acct number and the lady would not tell me what was on the acct so I told her to do anything further by mail.
Who called me? Person hung up.
AT&T Wireless called me.
Generic debt collection people, they only give you about 60 days to settle before they send it to collections and they start tacking on fees. I was a customer for 9 years (ported to Vonage) and am disputing the last bill as it was overcharged. ATT/Cingular will never get a penny from me again.
Caller ID showed 800-380-1196. Caller did not identify himself. He did mention this was regrading my AT&T account and that I should call back within 24hrs to get a valid credit card on the account to avoid interruption of service. The call back number was 800-351-9056. I called back AT&T and they suspect fraud.
It is AT&T for business customer care. They are probably calling because you are late on your phone service bill, or because you requested service from them.
They don't leave a message and have caller ID blocked. I am on the do not call list. That's getting to be a joke. Our government at work.
