Leave a CommentLegitimate investigative agencies do not s**** Caller ID. Statutes vary by state but in Illinois this would be grounds for suspending my license. This appears to be a bottom feeder doing skip tracing, and doing it badly.
NO IT DOES NOT COUNT BECAUSE INVESTIGATOR BRYAN WAS NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU ANYTHING. WHICH IS WHAT the national do not call registry IS FOR AND YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT IF YOUR GOING TO REFER TO IT.
IT IS NO BIG DEAL TO RETURN A CALL!!! There are all kinds of investigators for a lot of different things and the biggest part of any investigation is making and returning calls. Talking to a lot of people and asking a lot of questions. (Especially if the investigation is being done correctly and thoroughly) you should always find out who you're talking to. And usually they will have no problem telling you what the case is about because their calling you for help and to****ist them in an ongoing investigation but keep in mind if you're rude and evasive the investigator will have no reason to eliminate talking to you or your family and they will be calling back…………………………………………………………………………………………………………… I’m an investigator not a bill collector. I will not ask you for any money nor will I except it. If you have a case filed a***nst you and I’m calling it’s because a legal demand is being made for the property you financed but never paid for …………..so therefore if I’m able to talk you. I will provide you with an opportunity to get this matter mediated or resolved to keep it from going legal. Let’s face it people a lot you think nothing can be done to me. The repo man will just have to catch me when he catches me. Well that’s not realistic, if these companies can’t find you to recover their property. they have no other choice but to go legal to try to recover some of the money that you ripped out of …………………………………… YOU CAN BLAME BUSH ALL YOU WANT but it’s your fault to if you’re hiding property you did not pay for or if you’re the low life parent that lies and covers for the child that you raised that’s running and hiding property that neither of you paid for. These companies are going out of business and bankrupting. So many people are being laid off. With the way the economy is these companies are suffering also and if you don’t pay they can’t afford to keep employees.
Rec'd message on home ma****e that was initially disturbing, indicating that "Investigator Neeman" was calling and to call back and refer to a particular case number. No company name. I Googled the phone number and found this site. I returned the call and asked what the call was regarding. The "investigator" asked if I knew a Michael (my last name). I said no. She asked what my first name was so that she could make a note in their records that I do not know this person; I gave her my first name and my husband's (since that was the last name she was asking about). I was actually kind of rude to her to begin with since I was suspect; she was actually very polite. This company must help creditors find those who owe money. If you're not the person they're looking for or you don't know the person they're trying to find, it's no big deal to return the call and tell them that.
Caller was looking for someone with the same last name as mine. Identified herself as investigator Bryan. She persisted in asking about other relatives of the person she was trying to contact, even though I told her I had never heard of the person. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, she was rude and evasive. My phone number is on the national do not call registry. Does this call not apply?
Thanks for everyones comments above... I wanted to research the 800 before I called it since they left a message on the ma****e at the house and didn't even state who they needed to talk too and what agency they were calling from. I mean don't you think if you were an Investigator that you would provide more information. I found out later that they needed to talk to my dad about a 2003 Chevy which we don't even own. She asked me if I knew anyone else with the same name as my dad that could own the car. But isn't thatt her job to find out. She asked me to verify his SSN and I told her I could confirm it if she gave it to me and at the end, when she told me the last 4 digits that she had, I told her she did not have the right person. She apologized and said that she will take him off the list. Just be careful with these so called investigators... it was fishy from the beginning to the end.
Treat Your Employees BETTER!!! You ****
No soup for you!
All you have to do is take care of your bills. If you give them the information they will leave you alone and stop calling.
Just to let you know this is an very dishonest company maskarating as Global Inv. Serv. A gal that calls herself Rachel Mason has been known as a ********** her phone number is 800-381-4640 ext 226,She also gives that indication when she talks to you. She said to me I'll do anything for the right amount of $$$$. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE. Why has the FBI not stepped in?
Well if you people would pay your bills then you would not get a call from them if you are getting a call jsut give the info and the calls will stop.
Called about someone I knew 20 years ago. Would not give any info. they tried to get me all rattled up. When I called the number they would not say who they are either. Shouldn't there be a law a***nst private phone abuse?
rec'd call from investigator Stone. Said to call back, it was urgent. called back stating wrong number. She said she was looking for Todd Sullivan, an old boyfriend of my daughter and gave this number. Gave her his info. Why are they doing this? her ext is 234. My number is unlisted, how did they get my number and what are they going to do with it?
This is not the first call from this number and I find it amazing how many "investigators" work here. Bad collection ploy!!
I got one of these phone calls on my cell phone and then had a message left on my home phone voice mail from "Investigator Marquez" regarding case number ****** and I needed to return her phone call as soon as possible. My caller ID picked up the number called from as 972-555-1212, which it turns out is the directory****istance operator for Texas. I haven't called back yet but I am planning on calling tomorrow and having some fun.
hello this is investigator ***e? calling form aterwal Texas? (i think thats what she said, she was very quite) for a man that does not live at this address. gave this number to call back at ext 243 with case number ******kinda weird, i have heard of the person there looking for before, think i will answer next time
This number called my elderly mother-in-law here in central Florida, with the obligatory 'this is investigator so&so with rockwell county regarding case number blah blah, please return my call at..." I just looked the number up in the 800 phone book and found out that it is being used since 2007 by a VOIP business in Atlanta. I have been unable to acquire the name of the company so far. So why are they calling alot of old people? Sounds like bad sales strategy to me.
SHE CALLED MY MOM A YEAR AGO LOOKING FOR ME BY MY MAIDEN NAME AND WHEN MY MOM S****ED ASKING QUESTIONS, WAS ***G UP ON. TODAY MY IN-LAWS GOT THE SAME CALL FOR ME AND SOME GUY I'VE NEVER HEARD OF. WHEN I CALLED BACK TO LET HER KNOW SHE HAS THE WRONG PERSON, I WAS TREATED VERY RUDELY. SHE ASKED FOR THE LAST FOUR DIGITS OF MY SS#. WHEN I THEN ASKED WHY IT THERE WAS A YEAR'S TIME BETWEEN CALLS IF HER "INVESTIGATION" WAS SO IMPORTANT, "INVESTIGATOR JONES" BECAME EXTREMELY DEFENSIVE AND COULD NOT ANSWER. I REPORTED IT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
A woman calling herself Investigator Jones called my mom a year ago asking for me by my maiden name. When my mom s****ed asking her what the call was about, "Investigator Jones" ***g up on her. Today, the same woman contacted my in-laws asking for me a***n and some guy that I've never heard of. When I called the number back to find out what was going on and told "investigator Jones" that I am not the person she is looking for and that I have no idea who the guy is that she inquired about she became extremely rude. I asked why it took an entire year from the time she made the first phone call until now if her investigation is so important and she had no answer-just became very defensive. I reported it to the Better Business Bureau.
They are a private investigation firm out of Rockwall TX. Greg Hill and Danny Tolbert are the owners of this company.

I get calls like this rather frequently. I live in MA, but they always call about my ***her or grand***her who live in south FL. I have no idea how they got my (private) phone number! I never gave them any information about my family, and they stopped calling me a few weeks later.

They called my job and left a message. The caller identified herself as "investigator Garcia" and said it was extremely important that I contact her immediately.
