Leave a CommentThey just sent me 2 messages. I'm contacting AT&T!!
Happened to me also, luckily I noticed the charge on my bill in reviewing it the second time (almost missed it). Called my service provider and they took the charge off. Will definitely be checking next month's bill (if it's on there a***n, maybe I'll join Sam in suing these MFs). In any event, that'll be the last time I take a free IQ test to pass the time!
this has happen to me also and I am not taking it lying down. I am think of sueing their a**es. is any one interested in joining me?
Do NOT take the FREE IQ TESTS!!!!! By not doing so, you will prove to be of a very high IQ.
tell your carrier the situation and hopefully they will credit you what these thieves have helped themselves to. Mine did. These a**holes ought to be strung up.
These guys ought to be put in jail. They are basically pick pockets. How they have gotten this far along is beyone me. Just hope justice is served.
I have also been "hit" by Predicto Mobile and when I called, they said that they could not refund the $9.99 they charged as I had signed up for their service (which I did not "knowingly" do) and that their policy is clearly stated. Basicly, they said I was *****ed! I sent an e-mail to the address above but the message I received said it was the wrong department and provided a link so I could file a complaint: http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/comp.htm. Someone definitely needs to do so****ing about this! Oh....by the way.....after "cancelling" the service I never signed up for, I got 2-3 text messages trying to get me to sign back up for their service!! BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER AS ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!
Yeah it is predicto mobile ripping you off! Enjoy! They stole money from me today and even when I called them immediately they would not take the charges off my phone account. I encourage people to file a complaint a***nst Predicto mobile by e-mailing the New Jersey Attorney General at [email protected] tell them to do so****ing about predicto mobile a New Jersey LLC. What a bunch of thieves!
Follow up:I called Sprint within 5 minutes of realizing I'd been duped. There is no WAY I "double opted in" to this 'Predicto Mobile' service. I told Sprint I do NOT consent, do NOT want it. And it showed up on my bill anyway. :P
Fortunately for me, my service blocks all texts that cast a fee. I was charged once, and immediatly set myself up for premium message blocking. I have Verizon. This service is totally rediculous and unfair.
I keep getting text messages from random numbers. (Ex. 654654 and 69462). It is annoying.
I have also suffering the same. I am getting some text messages from 654654 and I have been charged $9.99 for my cell phone. it is very redicular. i could not able to understand who is sending this.
I wound up "double opting in" (so they said) with Predicto Mobile when I tried to do a "free online IQ test." Guess they found another idiot, because before I really understood what was happening, I was getting a text message every 10 seconds. I sent STOP and then called them, and they say I'm obligated because I "double opted in". All I wanted was the results of the test. :P I guess I know, don't I.You can complain about these guys with the FCC:http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html
Predictomobile did the same to me. I went to their site and complained and they responded by saying that I was not in their system. Funny that i have text messages from them. They also said they need my email address to stop the messages but it was included and they responded to my complaint to the email address. Are they are *****! I hope the Karma thing rages on these A*kholes.
I also received a text message from 654654. I checked my phone bill and noticed I was charged 9.99 for this. I went to their website and notice that someone registered my phone number with Predictomobile using a username I never heard of. I immediately cancelled. I wonder if the people at this site can find our cell number make phoney accounts and send out those messages then we get billed 9.99 and they collect the money. I sent them an email stating the above.
This showed up on my T-Mobile bill for $9.99 charge. Called T-Mobile, that said that I must have signed up for the service.NOT TRUE.They did put in a request to stop the service(what ever that service is?)BIG SCAM. Hope they burn in*****....sooner would be even better.
Hi, I have also suffered same. I called 1-800-387-0290 and pressed "1" key two times (according to the ma****e recording)to get rid of this f***ing service. You can also text "STOP" to 44577 . You can do the same and check you billing for next month. You can use this website as well.http://www.ringtonechannel.com/Service/Unsubscribe.aspxThanks,
On 2/10/08 I received a text message telling me that I was subscribed to "Atzmi". On 2/11/08 I received a text that I am being charged $9.99. I called the number - after I texted "stop" because I never signed for this service - and was told my cell phone is not in the system.
I don't even know how I got a charge from this number twice of 9.99 I tried calling them and they said my provider gave me the wrong number I checked it and it was the same number. I gave them my husband and my cell # and the person I talked to said that our number is not showing. So in other words they can just charge me any time they want without me cancelling for so****ing I didn't subscribe. Please help!!!!
