Leave a CommentThis phone number is for HSBC Mortgage Services. I own a rental property. I do not collect my rent til the 5th of the month. My mortgage payment is due on the 1st of the month, but not late til the 16th. Bill collectors from HSBC will call me simply because they did not receive their payment by the 1st day of the month. Each month I get the same collection calls. If I am willing to be a late fee, what should they care if I paid after the 16th ? These calls are not necessary. In May of 2011, I intend to file Chapter 7 - too much credit card debt. Since my mortgage is greater than the value of the property, I am tempted to include the mortgage too. THEN THEY WILL HAVE REASON TO CALL, BUT BANKRUPTCY LAWS MEAN THEY MUST STOP ALL COLLECTION EFFORTS.
Seems funny that a reputable company would not leave a message. Beware, looks like a scam. I will contact HSBC (not by this number) and let them know about this...
Call my house numerous times a day asking for someone who I do not know. When I ask them to please remove my number, they **** up on me. Often they immediately right back and ask for the person a***n. They will also call and just mock (repeat) what I say. For instance if I say*****o they say*****o back. If I ask who is this, they say who is this back. If I say dont call anymore, they repeast back dont call anymore. Very annoying. Also filed a complaint with the FTC.
HSBC is very aggressive at collections. They hold a lot of 2nd mortgages on homes that have negative equity which means they have no possible way of collecting there money if the home is foreclosed on. HSBC violates the contact laws. I record the calls and when I tell them they are being recorded they tell me that recording the call is a***nst the contract I signed (?)and **** up. The will call every day if they have not received their money by the 5th.
They called 3 times in 10 minutes! And they don't leave a message.
They called me three times this morning. The third time I finally answered and they had the wrong number. I told them to take my number off their list. Fortunately I registered with the Do not call registry. If they call a***n I'll report them and they can pay that nice big fine for waisting my time.
HSBC Mortgage Services. Calls began about a week ago and I would never answer because I was at work. I figured that if it was important, they would leave a message. Finally I answered today on the 14th. They wanted to know when I would give my payment. I have been with this bank for 3 years and always paid on the 16th. Which is still considered on time. I asked why they were calling when technically I was not late yet. I always pay online on the 15th so it can post on the 16th. They did not respond and ***g up.
wrong number and we have asked them not to call our home a***n
This company is harrassing my company by calling at all hours of the day, keeping my business line ******* so others can't call. IO don't have a mortgage with this company and we do not do business with this company
They call sometimes as early as 5:30 am Pac time. All I get is dead air.
800 395 3489 a mul***ude of calls every single day..rush to get the phone and it is dead air or they **** up. I am filing a formal complaint. I almost threw my knee out running to answer a call that ***g up on me.
if you are registered online. Go to your account info and c****e your area code in your phone number information. Thats how i stopped the calls.
These people have been calling my house non stop looking for a woman who is no longer at my current phone number or address. When I told them this they informed me that they would be suing me because I refused to tell them about the woman they are looking for, who I don't even know! This is beyond ridiculous, I told them to send the sheriff out here for proof that she doesn't live here. The gentleman with this company ***g up on me.
This debt collector has called my home at 5:30 and 6:30 am. I know this is a***nst the ftc regulations and I am going to seek legal advise. This has gone on for days even though I have clearly explained that the person they were looking for does not live here.
This 800 number comes through as "toll free". Duh, 800 numbers are toll free but it does not state specifically who is calling. We have been ignoring any and all calls that do not specify who they are due to the political ****ardment & charitable pressure. Therefore, I just found out that 800-395-3489 is really HSBC. We have never been late on our mortgage payment but they apparently are really agressive if you do not pay on the 1st even tho there is a 15 day grace period. Not everyone gets paid exactly on the first. I hate HSBC now. In all the 30 plus years of mortgages we have had with various lenders - NEVER - has one called before the grace period. AND we have never paid late ever to anyone. I called them about this and said if they want me to answer their calls then they'd better get to the I.T. folks or the phone people and tell them to make sure HSBC comes through on the caller I.D. I definitely would answer that call. Ticked off.
Annoying calls they call as early as 6 AM and as late as 10pm Pacific Time. Hbc does not leave a message.
Have received 10 calls from them asking for a person I don't know
8:30 AM, 8/26, 8/27, 8/28, 9/27:30 AM, 9/4My 84 year-old ***her has received phone calls on the above dates and times. A voice says, "I have a very important phone call for you all the operators are busy right nowplease hold the line." The first time my ***her received the phone call, he stayed on the line for 15 minutes. The sad thing about this is, my step-mother (his wife) passed away on 8/25. At first we thought that the phone call was from a lawyer or doctor and had so****ing to do with her passing away. Now he is answering the call and ****ing up. He does not need this type of harassment. He is still in shock over the loss of his wife.I called HSBC headquarters in Buffalo, NY. Finding a phone number and being able to talk to a real person is quite difficult; however, I did manage it. They seem to know nothing about these calls; they are looking into it.Perhaps the State Attorney General's Office would be interested in these calls.
HArassing phone calls from early morning to late night, with calss ranging up to 20 calls a day. By harassing I mean the amount of phone calls, under state law this is considered harasment, I have a mortgage through them but payments are made in a timely manner. When you do pick up the phone there is either no one there or please wait until someone is with you shortly comes on the line, this is an outrage.
Call constantly from early a.m. to late at night, up to 10 calls a day, which legally is harasment. Have mortgage through them but payments are made in timely manner. They put your number on a rotating caller bot, that dials number in place by the computer to call until removed, only when you pick up there is no one on the other end unless you just happen to catch them at the right moment. My suggestion is to tell them if they do not stop with the harassing phone calls under law they can be held responsible for their actions.
Yeah, it's HSBC and the worst part is that when I answer- it's dead air, sometimes for up to 1 minute. I always have to call the number back and then give them all of my information. I have a HELOC with them and it bills on the 23rd of every month- I pay it by the 15th of the next month, but I get calls from the 1st of the month even when I have already spoken with them and made arrangements to pay. They are TERRIBLE!
They call and call and never leave a message. You answer, and no one is there. Several calls a day!
Calling me at work
They unceasing call my 87 year old mother (living in****isted living). Already have sent 'cease & desist' and contacted the Florida Attorney General.
They are very rude, very unprofessional, they disclose information about your account with people that are not authorized on the account
Not sure why this company continues to call because we are not delinquint on anything. They call as early as 7am until 11pm.
We have a 2nd mortgage with this company. We usually pay our loan by the 15th of the month, where this is not late, but my god, they call every day from 7 am- 9pm everyday until then.It is messed up. My husband and I are going to refi and get rid of them.
call Sunday s****ing at 8;00 a.m. every 2 hrs. till 8:00 p.m. thur week s****ing 8:00 a.m.
Very rude to me. ***g up on me and they lied when asked for a corporate headquarters number.
Our debt counselor is working with them, but they don't stop. They call and call, but don't leave a message.
call Sunday every four hrs. plus every day same
S****ed calling Sunday morning at 8:00 and every hour after that.
Company is using a automated system to constantly tie up my cellphone
It's HSBC that calls and ****s up if you do not answer, in order to be allowed to call back a***n later in the day. It's their early collection department.
Calls numberous times a day- if this is HSBC, I do have a mortgage with them but i have never in all the years (4) that I have been with them have had a late payment. If you are in your grace period- they still call & harass you!
It's HSBC Mortgage Services
I want this number to stop calling me!!!!
