Pretending to be a debt collector, his name is "James" he is using a company that doesn't know what I am talking about. I called the company phone number according to the Ohio Attorney General, informed them of the issue, they gave me numbers and names, I called them, gave them my and my husbands information, they do not have anything on file for neither of us, and I gave them his phone number

Calls repeatedly seeking a person I have never heard of. Asked to desist, as this is a work number, but obviously too ****** to understand.

Cynthia: what kind of complete ***** gets their 7 year old a cell phone? She's had the number for 2 years? You bought a 5 year old a cell phone?You obviously have more money than ***ins.

A recording first comes on stating to please hold.  After a moment of holding (on my 7 year-old's cell phone) someone asks for Olivia.  I have had it!  My daughter has had this number for 2 years now and I don't know anyone named Olivia (neither does my daughter).  Be aware that once I s****ed answering the phone and "snapping" at them, she now gets calls from 602-667-0128 for the same person.  When you do a reverse search on the 800 #, there is no information but for the "P***nix, AZ" number it is for Cavalry Investments.

The 800 Service comes up on the caller ID. They are looking for my daughter who hasn't lived with me for over 9 years. I told them that and asked to have my phone taken off their list. I told them I registered with do not call. Woman's response, "Ya, we don't do that"

Originally, I got a recording on my ma****e stating it was an attempt to collect a debt for someone I've never heard of. Since then, they call constantly - several times a day at all hours. If I do actually answer the phone, there is NEVER a person on the other end - just silence and then they **** up. SO annoying! I've filed complaints everywhere I can. They need to stop! We don't owe anyone and the few times I've actually gotten a recording, they ask for someone I've never heard of! ANNOYING!

Guessing it's a debt collector for someone with the same surname but is not at this address as the Mrs answered and told them so. They still call and when the answering ma****e responds, push a ****on that emits a loud, pulsating sound like when the receiver is off the hook - only louder. Very nasty!

They call me and sometimes leave an automated message for someone else or no message at all.

The Company CBVS has been calling my number looking for members of the Gary Higens family in Iowa for the last four years in spite of me sending them cease and d****t letters reporting them to the attorney generals office and reporting them to the do not call registry. Once a***n today I was contacted by them and the answer they had for me not to be harassed by them any longer....  C****e my phone number!

Like others who've posted here, the recording that comes up on voicemail is someone named Bob Jones but the recording that comes on when I answer this number is looking for someone who is not me. Also like others here, I have no debt.The calls are getting ridiculous. I see no benefit to this company in making these repeated calls, and it's obviously harassing to me and everyone else they're not legitimately looking for.

I've been getting repeated calls from this number as well. I have now put them on "Call Block". The first time they called they asked for a person I don't know and then basically accused me of being that individual and owing $. I am debt free.Tired of their early a.m. calls.

After the first call,which was one of those "please hold" calls, I****igned 800-395-8289 a special ringtone so that I would not answer it automatically as I usually do. This time they didn't leave a voicemail message.

They left a message on the office phone number and after checking out the number on google, I will just write it off as a scam

I received 2 messages and they do not answer at the number.  I do not have any past due bills.

They called attempting to collect a debt, mind you, I have no outstanding debt whatsoever, they call every hour. It needs to stop, the man says his name is Bob Jones. I am also reporting them to the BBB.

It's amazing that everyone on the Internet knows about this scam except the FCC. Where are they, asleep?

this collection agency keeps calling on my cell, but they're looking for a woman I've never heard of. Besides, the call is never originated by a person, only by an automated ma****e. Does anyone know how to make it stop?
