Leave a Commentwow bro! i mean i know your trying to look out for yourself & all but man, you have to learn how to speak & spell better. Especially if your wanting us to take time to listen to what you have to say! I'm sure you mean well but you have to represent yourself a little better because it ends up falling back on your company & begs the question...what kind of people are they hiring there??
people people this is a little old all ready we are all suppost to be business owners an we are all acting like kids so now just take the call an listen doesn't mean you have to do any thing just listen or go to the website www.att.com/telemarketing an you will see that we aint lieing to you so just listen
cant we all just get along? i love u guys!
Dear "Miranda", "Jordan Sparks", "********", "Hermaphrodite", or whatever or w***ver you feel like being today, I'll keep this to th point & if you respond to this I guess I'll never know because this is the last time I'll be on this site with you freaks. I'll s**** with the comment about your "direct supervisor" Andrew. I never said anything about this Andrew for you to take offense. I was simply stating that he was the only one honest enough to stand up for his job & what he does. If you had some common sense maybe that would've registered. Unfortuntely, they dont teach common sense in college so you wont be able to earn it with that college degree of yours. I really dont care what you do to help your day get by. I just think its sad to have to come on a site like this, which was put for consumers like us to share our opinons, & see a bunch of comments that have been posted by this companies employees! Any good thing posted on here was by you & your co-workers because you guys get your paychecks from them. I mean with all those personalties you have in there, one of you would have to admit how sad that is. Pay me enough money Ill say so****ing positive also! I'll finish with this comment about education. First, I have friends who work in some form of call centers & they're pretty succesful. I never implied telemarketers were uneducated. I will however, say I have yet to meet a telemarketer who actually calls people, such as you, with a college degree. Maybe while attending school but the ones with the degrees are the ones who cut you your paycheck. Those people are in management, not posting blogs on a site to make try & make their jobs easier. Finally, if you havent figured this out by now then maybe you should, you cannot be home schooled through college. That only works through high school. You cant have your parents teach you a few things & then claim you have a college degree from barnhouse college. So once you get a real degree & hit six figures I'll let you say what you want about me or my m****s. Until then...
In retrospect, I do believe I let my personal feelings influence my previous responses. I would like to apologize for being unprofessional. Being upset is no reason to allow myself to behave in that manner, and two wrongs do not make a right.
By the way, Andrew also so happens to be my direct supervisor, and he, or anyone else can easily tell you how we opperate. Very early in this conversation it was made apparent that Edge was infact legitimate, so isn't this whole thing mute?
Wow. That's really all that can be said. What I don't understand is why people have to make personal remarks. In the long run, does it honestly make a difference to any person here who someone on a blog on line is? Its obvious that some of the people on this blog have probably been *****ed over by some third party USBI type billers, and it really ****s that some people are dishonest like that and make a living off of scamming others. So what if some of the people who posted to this blog are employees of Edge Teleservices? Does that take away thier right to stand up for themselves? Its apparent that they must believe in what they do, or they wouldn't bother posting here. It also concerns me that "business owners" would speak in such obscene terms. Maybe its my midwestern back ground, but the term "********" is going to be offensive to anyone. Saying that Andrew as to "Come clean" about working somewhere is the same thing as saying that you shamefully admit to loving your wife, boyfriend, or other type of significant other. Are you shameful about where you work? Probably not, and I am sure Andrew isn't either. I suppose to sum up what I am saying, is that its probably only the business of the people who work for edge teleservices where they work, and to****ume that because someone may or may not work for a telemarketing firm makes them uneducated is actually a very hurtful stereo type. I'm a college educated young woman who works for a call center because its work that I love and I believe in. Last time I checked, it wasn't the job that made you the type of person you were, it was your m****s.So, Kyle, the next time you would like to say things with malicious intent, and you know that your comments were, in fact, intended to cause some person who was probably just trying to break the monotony of the ten to six thirty grind, perhaps you should look within yourself and consider where those comments are coming from. Until your post, no one here felt the need to single any one person out for ridicule.I guess what I am trying to say, Kyle, is that you are a ****y pants, **** face, hermaphrodite (For that is the Politically correct term,) and really, just a very, very mean person.
none of you guys know what you're talking about. especially this "jordan" person claiming to be real. first of all whether you are a he or a she, probably a '********', you should consider think about what youre saying because a non-educated person trying to use big words just doesnt sound right. Not to mention you should work on your spelling. I agree with this Lisa, using famous names & trying to use a false iden***ies to try and say so****ing good about your company says a lot about you. At least this "Andrew" can speak up & come clean about him working for this company. Yeah thats not kindergarten like. As far as this m**** compass thing, wow really? Lets just say by someone mistaking you for someone famous has nothing to do with someones m****s. Lying about who you really are to try and make your job easier speaks volumes about someones m****s! so "jordan" or "employee" or "********" or whatever you wanna call yourself, let me ask you where is your m**** compass??
My name is Jordan, not "Jordin," and I own a plumbing company in sacramento. I'm a man, and since that season of idol its actually been pretty tough to be me. I would also like to point out that i have never heard of anyone named "Jane Smith," so you must subscribe to a different Tivo then I do, or so****ing. I also want to mention that you seems to be the only person to have the time to continuously post blog after blog, and the only reason I am condscending to respond is because you so obtusely made an inclusive stereo typed descision based upon a name that my parents gave me over 25 years ago. Have you no m**** compass? Or did you leave that in kindergarten?
Okay let me clear some things up. We do get our paychecks from Edge Teleservices, but we call on behalf of AT&T. AT&T hired Edge to do quarterly reviews with customer's to make sure AT&T customer's plans and services are up to date. These people that are calling from Edge are trained and very knowledgeable with AT&T products. All our calls are recorded so we can't just "scam" people. This is not how our company conducts itself, and it's not how we operate. We are here to help small business customer's in any way possible and we go above and beyond. So please when you get a call from us take, it could be one of the best calls you have ever received.
Yeah & I'm sure you work for this so called "vendor" company. As a matter of fact you're probably the girl that helped me! Because I'm sure an American Idol winner 'Jordin Sparks' has nothing better to do with her time but blog about a scamming company like yours! Funny how every 'good' comment posted on this site is from someone famous, Rick James, John Lennon, Jane Smith, but that's probably just a kwinkie ****. Right, as if that doesn't sound fishy enough. That just says an awful lot about your operation that you have to have your employees post positive feedback on your behalf. I wouldn't be surprised if they were forced to do it either! Anyway for all of you consumers out there, I know you're going to do whatever you feel is most beneficial for your company but just beware. From my own personal experience, I would never, ever do business with this company a***n!
From what i have heard they are required to recap everything, so if you missed so****ing i suppose its because you missed it, not because they slipped it in. They record everything anyway. I've actually heard one of my calls because I asked after they switched my long distance. I found the entire thing pleasently surprising.F9
Actually I am one who did take time and speak with a represen***ive and allowed her to do her sh***l. The represen***ive wasn't very professional & quite honestly was pretty loud & annoying. She sounded like she new what she was talking about so giving her the benefit of the doubt I regrettingly agreed to her "saving" me money. Whether it's a scam or not I don't know, they did know all my info. I do know however, that I was mislead. I received a product that I never asked for & the products were never fully explained to me. I asked a***n & a***n to confirm & she promised me, yes. Should've known better than to deal with a telemarketer who called me, a subsidirary at that!
I think that its funny how you've got better business to attend to. However you take the time to sit on a website and insault people only trying to do there jobs theres proof on the att website like stated before. However you still think your getting scammed. These people really can save you money they saved me $70 a month However I did take the time to listen to them for about 10 mins instead of****uming it was a scam.
I know it seems odd but it was worth my time completely. actually, it took a little under ten minutes and the third party rep from att saved me about 20$/mo!
The people that called me were very nice and professional. They were really willing to help me!! That Shane is alittle bit of a pest but everyone else is really nice.
Ladies and Gents,I recieved an AT&T promotion call from this number, identifying themselves as "EdgeTel on behalf of AT&T". I called AT&T directly - at the customer service number on my business bill - regarding the phone call I had with these individuals.Contrary to my initial feeling - the AT&T rep whom I called directly CONFIRMED THIS WAS A LEGITIMATE CALL FOR A PLAN PROMOTION.As it turns out, AT&T has farmed out their solicitations for small businesses (see www.att.com/telemarketing) to this group in an effort to promote reductions to your bill. The phone call notes were entered to the AT&T database, so the AT&T rep I spoke with could verify everything the EdgeTel rep had discussed. My problem lies with asking sensitive information over the phone from a third party. In order to c****e my plan, I was asked to devulge my TaxID and SS# a**** other things. This type of information should never be requested over the phone and certainly not given if I didn't initiate the call.
Unfortunately as stated in previous commentary, this # does in fact belong to Edge Telemarketing Services . As a small business owner who uses ATT for our phone lines, we cannot get away from telemarketers.in my case, a Stacy Rubio left a voicemail saying she was calling on behalf of ATT, that she needed a return call regarding our account, and to call 1 800-395-8334. Her voice is annoying and makes herself sound like your account is on jeopardy. i called back the 605 232-6573 and the person that answered did state they are authorized by ATT. I ***g on them and decided to call ATT to file a complaint/ The best i did was a file the complaint with regards to AT&T 's use of 3rd marketing companies. For future reference I would recommend ignoring these calls from 605 232-6573. we have better business to attend to.
These people said they were ATT, and when I called back it sounded like it was. They said there was a new deal in my area with $10 off a month. I told them to fax me the information because I wanted to review, but they said that it couldn't be done like that. ATT is having a promotion... but I am not giving these people any info because I don't trust them... even if I could be saving $10 a month it isn't worth it.
I got a call from them today and called and they said to leave a voicemail with name of representative. I think I've been getting voicemails from them for a while now but haven't responded because they didn't say what it was specifically for "an issue on your account. It was from Cory Shwartz (?) at 1 800 395 8334 (?)
November 28 message said " I am concerned about your ATT account, call back today (using 800 395 8334)" right.
