VISA risk management - hey called to stop fraudulent activity on my account. They also sent an email through my bank to notify me of why they were calling.

This number is from a company called to let me know there were fraudulent charges on my credit card.

This number is a VISA risk management company that monitors su****ious credit card or bank account activity. They called me and stopped a would be attempt of fraud and saved me a from a huge headache!!!

Got a call from this company because of someone trying to make a purchase at a hotel in Pennsylvania around the same time I, legitimately, used my card at a McDonald's drive thru in Maine. So glad I took the call, and my credit union has now ordered me a replacement.

This is the VISA verifying a strange charge to your account.  I am going on vacation to Mexico and booked and paid for spa services on-line.  They called to verify the charge was accurate.  They do not ask for any account information, only your name.  I called my bank to make sure the call was legit.  VISA does close the account to further purchases until verified, so make sure you let your bank know you are leaving the country so your account isn't closed while you are on vacation!
