Leave a CommentIt's been 2 months now that I have been getting calls at work from Access payment on a daily basis. I have asked them to stop calling but to no avail they continue to do so. Frustrated, I found their number on this blog and called them back and a***n asked them to not call back and that I will file a harassment charge a***nst them - not sure if that will deter them or whether I even have the ability to charge them but what other options are out there? Does anyone know how to stop them from calling? It is very weird that they know they owner's name and when I called them they knew where I was calling from.
They are a, second-tier payment processor who sell products from mainstream primary processors. They advertise rates "as low as" 1.39% which is nonsense. Unless you are a billion $ grocery chain, or an oil company selling gasoline, or in "emerging markets" (education, real estate) the base rate cost for VISA is 1.54% and for MasterCard, 1.59%. They are posted online for anyone who wants to see them. That is the cost to the processor! So that 1.39% is not going to happen. The cost to the processor for credit cards varies with card and transaction, from 1.54% to 2.25% for high reward MasterCards. So expect that any processing you pay for will include enough to cover those percentages, plus a profit margin.
I'm quite certain this number has called our place of business several times. ***ody there when we pick up. Just got a call now.
They are calling at least 3 x a day.. Is there some way we can get their number blocked from everyone. There should be a way to report it as harrassment.
They call at least ten times a day and never answer the phone when you call them back. They are driving me crazy but that is obviously part of their tactic. I have already told them to take me off their list and that I don't want to c****e my payment processing provider but they just don't want to get it. This should be illegal!
I have received several calls from the same person from access payments. I have told him that the person in charge of our terminal does not work at the facility (since she is the owner and does not work our front desk)...he repeatedly calls asking for her even after I have told him that I have spoken to her and that we are NOT interested, please take our # off your list...blah blah, then he keeps talking so I have to **** up on him. I get like 10 calls per week from him, I let it go to the answering ma****e and he never leaves a message. I'd****ume if this was a legit company, not just telemarketing, then he would LEAVE A MESSAGE no? He never even provides a number to be called back at, nor will he send us any information by mail or email. He just wants me to fax him our bank statements or whatever....yeah right buddy, i'm obviously not going to send my confidential information to some guy calling from india!!!!
Getting 2 calls a day from this number - it's been happening about 3 weeks now. Would like to know from the others if this stops after a while - or am I going to get calls until I c****e my phone number?
I am sick and tried of all these telemarketers calling business organization such as ours with their bogus schemes and scams. THIS HAS TO STOP!! But being Ca***ian, nothing is ever done.
They are calling my number multiple times a day and I refuse to answer. The first time they ever called, they asked for my husband saying they had already spoke to him (LIE!!!) and that they have a deal he wanted. I told him I do all the financial things around here and he refused to tell me what they wanted or so that I could leave a message with him. I told him that he didn't talk to him and don't bother calling back BUT.......GRRRRRRRR Isn't there someone out there that's going to do so****ing about these terrible calls. It is ruing any credible business that calls. No one wants to hear it ****S!!!
CALLS 10 - 15 X A DAY AND THIS IS A BUSINESS
I answered with "I have P.O.S. terminals for rental, with better rates) :-)They usually call about P.O.S. terminals for debit, credit cards. She didn't like that much. Also, after they called, I responded with sound effects (fax ma****e)...that shut them up for abit. :-)
1-800-419-2381When you call this number, if you happen to get them to answer, it is Acces Payments - Rate Processing, whatever that is. I think they have spin doctors sitting up all night dreaming up ways to harass the business community with some bogus business opportunity. At least they answer the phone and identify themselves. When they called the first time, they left a 10 minute or more blank message on our answering ma****e. I called to have our number removed from their mailing list, which they say they have done. Remains to be seen. Can always hope.
had the same as the above and told her I was happy with my merchant processing account and to please take me off their calling list, as I do not conduct business with telemarketing solicitors and she said she was a finacial advisor.
They just called my boss at our work. My boss was confused as our company credit cards arent from here so he s****ed asking the guy questions about this and the guy ***g up! Total scam!! Beware! Never ever give out any info over the phone! Remember you can **** up and actually call your credit card that your with and make sure that it is ok...
Watch out, this company called us and asked our businss account number to ensure merchant credit card did not over charge us. We did not tell them . We tried calling them back to findout who they are, they **** up. Do not deal with them, they are telephone and Internet scam

I called them back, music for a very brief moment and a young sounding lady picked up identifying the solicitor as Access Payments. Access Payments are a re-seller of merchant payment processing. Basically they promise you better rates, get you to sign a rediclous one sided contract then take you to the cleaners. The woman who answered immediately new who I was and what my first name was, I found it rather disturbing and rather CREEPY. I told her I was happy with my merchant processing account and to please take me off their calling list, as I do not conduct business with telemarketing solicitors EVER.
