This is NOT a scam. I worked for them for years. Everything is quite particular. It is a clearing house. Just like Publisher's clearing house. It is NOT a scam. It's people like you that sit up there and complain that american's don't have enough jobs but you go around throwing words like "Scam" around when you have NO clue what you're talking about. The company has been in business for over 20 years. This is not some fly by night organization. It's magazine sales. To be honest, you will be pitched on buying magazines but you can refuse them. You are still entered into the sweepstakes.Just in case you think the agent may be bitter about you not buying and not enter you, it won't happen. They monitor all our calls and can see which calls were entered verses the call volume. We could lose our jobs for not doing that. If you do decide to report this like the idiot who just called it a scam, you won't get anywhere because the company is reputable. I don't even work for them anymore and I find I have to keep defending them. The reason it's not a scam? - If you are familiar with Publisher's Clearinghouse. Well, In essence, all clearinghouses are lotteries. FREE lotteries. Most of them are free. Some of them you have to pay. But with them it's not. What SCAM company do you know woudl list their full address and company name on the back of their envenlopes giving you instruction on removing yourself from the list? You have to read the information specifically. They DON'T do cold calling. YOU CALL THEM!And the paperwork clearly says you HAVE NOT won anything but that you are eligeable by entering. We have a yearly winner for the grand prize and that informat is reported to the government! Some People need to learn to talk what they know.

I have got a letter through my mail that says the following: "We are trying to reach you regarding your $2,100,000.00 prize entry ID#795763854. Your reply is needed by June 25, 2009 to be eligible for prize offerings. If your prize entry is selected the winning number in a random drawing you win $2100,0000.00 Call 1-800-420-5478 to activate your prize ID# 795763854 by June 25, 2009".When I called them, they asked me to pay a little money for a list of magazines. I think they are making telemarketing and they are trying to collect credit card or visa card numbers. Please don't do this.....
When I called the number the lady asked me for my ID number and I told her that the phone number I called was on the internet as a scam and she s****ed yelling at me that I was being recorded.
Did not receive a call but a mailer. When I called the lady answered very unprofessionaly and when giving my ID number and the spelling of the name she completly *****ed up, putting numbers and letters in the information that was not even mentioned. SCAM ALL THE WAY!!!!!
