I received a threatening call from this company.  My caller id registered "Unknown." Phone number was 800-420-9132.  The caller threated to seize personal property because of a Capitol One debt.  When I provided the caller with my attorney's name and number she informed me they are only obligated to trying to call the attorney once.  Anyone have an address?

This is allegedly a "law office company" located in New York. Thing is, I do work for a real law firm and they couldn't answer my questions or provide bar numbers, etc. I seriously doubt they will call any of my numbers a***n looking for my ex-husband!!!!! If they do, can you say LAWSUIT!!!

I get 4 and 5 calls a day from this company.I try to talk civil with them they get very heated and make threats when I mention the lawsuits their involved in.

The software allows you to blacklist/ban any phone numbers you don't want to get through to you.  If the company tries to phone you as "unknown" - you can ban unknown number (and unknown name if you want) as well.

Called on Sa****ay morning. Refused to give his name Claimed to be law office, on Sa****ay morning, Liar. very rude, Called me looking for somebody I do not know. Called them back, answered as LAW OFFICE, sharp ones these buzzards. Asked them to remove my name, they were monitoring their caller id, knew who was calling.

***. These people are VERY rude! I read both of these complaints and its not a lie. These people have been calling me for months looking for a person that doesnt live at this phone number. Never even heard of the people before. They call 5-6 times and day and leave messages on my answering ma****e. I have told them time and time a***n to remove my number, that they have the wrong phone number but they still continue to call. Today was it! I asked for a supervisor right away and he acted like I was attacking him. He was real ****y and rude and to not harrass them. Made me feel like they were a victim. I called back, got the same rude "supervisor" told me to quit pranking them. I told them to remove my number, he said he did 2 mins prior, so I said remove it a***n. This is a scam co trying to collect capital one accounts from anyone whe is foolish enough to pay them. They ***g up on me & I called them right back, very arrogant and so was the supervisor who I guess was supposed to intimidate me. Reported them to do not call also.The Law Offices of Mitchell N. Kay of New York, NY, left a message with my husband on 07/07/09 for me to call them at 800-420-9132 x5238.  I googled them and found out they were a scam collection agency.  I then ordered my credit report from Experian and it came back perfect.  On 07/09/09 I received a call from them a***n and the man told me they were calling about the $17,000 I owed Capital One. I told the man I never had a Capital One account and that I had a copy of my credit report.  He  told me social security numbers don't lie and ***g up on me.  Then I called Capital One and spoke with with Roy Marquec, ID# TFI, of the Capital One Fraud Division (800-427-9428), where Mr. Marquec confirmed that I have never had any accounts with Capitol One.  Mr. Marquec checked both my social security number and my name and address to see if there was any record of an account with them and found no accounts.  This law office has been known to freeze bank accounts. I have reported them to the NYS Attorney General (where they are already under investigation), to the FTC, and to the NYS Bar****ociation.

These people called me and claimed to be from an attorneys office and said if I continued to refuse to pay they would s**** taking personal property of mine. They asked if I still lived at an address that I lived at 2 years ago and I told them I had received bills from my original creditor (Capital One) at my new address and they demanded that I tell them what the new address is and I told them that I did not trust them. If they were legitimate then they would already have my new address because my creditor had it. Then he demanded to know where i worked. I ***g up on him and another guy called back right away saying that he was the superviser and he tried the same thing on me. I told him to send it to me in writing. Thank the good Lord for caller ID!

Called me asking for my husband. Won't tell what he wants "its personel business" he said. His name is Emanula Bastian from Attorney Michelin & Kay law offices. From other post that I have read its the same company but now using a different number. He called my cell number not home and my caller ID sowed up as 646. he gave 1-800-420-9132 Ext. #5433
