Call sating there has been some suspicious activity on my account with Zelle. After telling them I do not have a Bank of America account, they hung up.
ONE OF THE WORST SCAMMERFIC***IOUS
ROBO SPAM scammer. They called and asked for Mike somebody. Told them they had the wrong number and ***g up.
A voice mail was left by this number with a ***ue reference to BOA business with a guys name and another number which I could not make out the last digit. I blocked the number and reported to BOA fraud. I am adding to the existing comments here. Also, what bank calls after 5 on a Friday. All the way around su****ious and not well thought out. Glad I missed the call. Be careful out thee. I do have a BOA credit card and they used my cell phone. Kinda scary.
Third call from "Bank of America" . I have contacted Experion and have froze my Credit report. I have received confirmation from Trans-Union and the other agency that my credit is frozen and no request for a new credit card for Dallas is in works. The COPS need to stop these guys. Where is the FBI?
This is definitely a scam. This so called Bank of America rep had most of my infomation and after confirming my last four of ssn he stated he would close the Credit Card request in Dallas, Texas. He said he would have to transfer me to EXPERIAN for me to complete the stopping action. Once transferred they wanted to confirm my info a***n and I stopped the call at that time. Two days later I received an exact copy of this call except from Wells Fargo Bank on a different number, ( 800) 642-4720. I contacted Wells Fargo and Experian and added an alert and freeze on my credit profile.
This ****ule has done this to me twice - using the same name, which he says is Abbie Walker. Called from 800-421-2110, which shows up on my phone as Bank of America. Said he needed to verify my info from my home state. Said he was in Texas. Had my address, last for SS. I told him to stop trying to scam me; that I was going to call Bank of America; he said "go ahead - you're just gonna get me a***n." Called BofA; spoke with fraud supervisor, who is reissuing my card and said they NEVER CALL for anything other than su****ious activity. If you get a call; **** up and call BofA number on back of card or fraud department for BofA.
Offered lower interest rate to senior citizens with good credit. Caller was Paul Garrett gave me agent number as CS4563 direct phone as 571-969-3285.
Stated someone from Dallas, Texas, was trying to open a Bank of America account.
Called saying that someone was trying to make an Ebay purchase with the account.
Caller identified herself as a name (I forget who) but what is concerning is she knew my mom's name, last 4 digits, and approx balance owed. Scary. Offered lower interest rate. My mom got scammed a few months ago by similar. They s**** the real B of A number. Caller ID said "Bank of America".
Said that they were calling from Bank of America, then from experian, then from the FBI.
Asked if I made a fraudulent charge for **** *****!!! I couldn't help but laugh out loud and of course ***g up, blocked em and reported here.
told me they were calling to verify a charge on my bank of America card in the amount of $1200.00 for Ebay today.
Asked for my social. Asked me about recent fraudulent transactions linked to Debt Consolidation (another scam called I received a few days ago). Called BOA myself and they said it’s definitely a scam. They knew too much! Scary times people. Do NOT give them any information
This is the number on the back of my Back Of America card. I called them. But I don't know if I would trust getting a call from this number. I heard that sometimes people trying to scam you can use other people's numbers. To look like Bank of America is the one calling. But these days I really don't know.
This is a Bank of America customer service number. It is a legitimate number.
FRAUD - stating from Bank of AMERICA asking your name and SS#
Called phone back to back 10 times, phone blocked them as being possible fraud....which the actual number turned out to be indeed fraud.
Don't give them any info. **** up and block the number.

Didn’t recognize number... didn’t answer... no voice mail.
This is sort of a scam, the actual number leads to bank of America, but no one would ever call you from this number.

Received another unsolicited call at 12:54pm PDT with caller id of "TOLL FREE CALL" that wend to my message service with a 'blank' message. Other reviews indicated it is from "Card Member Services" - yet, I do not possess a credit card... repeated calls are annoying (at best).
While this is SUPPOSEDLY the BANK OF AMERICA's toll free number, I suspect in my case the number was S****ED. Called just now; we have NO RELATIONSHIP with that bank. Likely a CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM. Let go to ans. mach.; no msg left. From the comments here, the SCAMMERS have been using this number/ruse for YEARS.

First, a recorded message "we've tried to call you numerous times" -- call log would show that, and does not. Then when an actual person picks up, he keeps saying "yes I am calling from the card member services". When pressed on WHICH card company's member services he is calling from, he just keep parroting "yes I am calling from the card member services" and "lower rates, your VISA Master Card".

I have told them not to call many times. I don't have any credit cards.
When I called the number they left, 800-421-2110, I was immediatly asked to enter my card number so they could help resolve the issue. same as above, but, i do have balance due

Someone called and left a message at my house saying they were from Bank of America, I do not have an account or a credit card from Bank of America. When I called the number they left, 800-421-2110, I was immediatly asked to enter my card number so they could help resolve the issue.
I didn't receive a call from this number, but I have called it. It's definitely the number on the back of my credit card for 24-hour customer service. It wasn't the best service I've ever had, but it certainly wasn't fraudulent.
wanting to lower my credit card/s rate, i do not have any credit cards.
