These people are a scam. We just received a call from a man who said he is with AT&T but is with ASP who is an AT&T provider. He said he was calling to tell me that they would c****e my account to reflect a 30% discount but he would need to fax me a paper to show what he was going to do. Then he springs this B.S. that he needs to record the conversation to approve this c****e order because he could not even fax me anything until he had recorded approval. This is a fraud, because the ******* would never have faxed me anything after I had let him record anything, and he was just trying to ****er me into getting a recording that remotely sounded like an approval,and then the s**tting with my account would have been endless. I only talked to him because we are in the process of installing a new phone system and was just making sure that he was the scam I thought he was. Anybody that reads this, if you have gotten any calls like this recently, you had better call your phone service provider and request your account be locked before you get sprung with an outrageous phone bill that you have to raise***** about for a month to keep from having to pay.

I was contacted by a Talisha Smith from this phone number 1-800-421-5845 three months ago and I must say I was impressed with her professionalism as I read over my new bill I see all of the savings that she promised.Even though they are a third party contracted by at&t there work is superb.

Calls constantly - and ****s up as soon as I announce my business name.  I tried calling the 800-421-5845 number and entering random extensions s****ing with 1 and 0 and never could get anyone to answer.Called at&t and requested that they remove my number from the call list.

They say they are from AT &T.  They are not.  I made the mistake of placing an order and tried to cancel almost immediately.  They did not call back so I called AT&T and put a note on our account hopefully blocking any c****e.  Hopefully, it will work.  My rule for the future is NEVER to deal with anyone who calls me supposedly from AT&T and only make c****es in my account WHEN I CALL AT&T.  I'm going to try to get our number removed from the telemarketer list by AT&T.

I got a call from this number today, July 24, at 3:33PM Eastern Time.  The call went into my voice mail.  The caller identified herself as "Ms. Alvarado with AT&T."  She gave her number as 800-421-5845, extension 1073.  She called in reference to account number - and then she said my telephone number.  She then asked that I call her in reference to that account number.  I don't plan to do that.

Got a call from 800-421-5845.  They asked for someone by name.  I have never heard of this person before; it's like they pulled it out of a hat or so****ing.  They did get my company's name right.  They claimed they can give me a discount because AT&T merged with BellSouth.  I told them that they sound like a fraud and not to call me anymore.  I told them this is a strange way for AT&T to conduct business.  I should have gotten so****ing in the mail instead.  They kept insisting that I give them my fax number so that I can sign so****ing for them and fax it back.  I told them "you've got to be kidding.  I'm not giving you any information."  After I ***g up on them, they had the nerve to call back in a few minutes and say that I'm currently paying $460.00 in phone charges on eight lines and that they could provide me with a discount.  I told them not to call a***n and ***g up.  I hate telemarketers.  They, along with spammers are some of the leaches of society.  Can't they find an honest job where they don't harass people all the time.

this is a telemarketer hired by ATT to upsell customers, they do NOT identify themselves as telemarketers hired by ATT, but simply say they ARE ATT, which in most books is fraud...most of what they do will result in additional cost to the customer...be wary, and if what they say sounds interesting, tell them NO, then call the number in your phone book for ATT and speak with them directly.

Person said he was with Embarq and wants to set up an appointment.I ask him a***n, who are you with?  He replied Embarq.

Caller said he was with "the new AT&T" and said we had spoken a couple of months ago.  That didn't happen.  He said he must have his notes crossed and he was going to check into it and then ***g up.  I don't think the caller was legit.
