These people keep calling, I've told them that I am not the person they are looking for, they can't be bothered to remove me from their call list.
Ive been getting calls from this company waking me up at 9 am for months now. I finally called back, pressed 1 to be removed from the calling list, so hopefully that'll work. It's a scam to the fullest!
I received a call from 800-427-5933. Caller said he was "John" (??)) and he was collecting a debt (never mentioned which agency he was with). He said I had a delinquent Nextel account for $800.00. I told him I never had a Nextel account. After some back and forth (No I don't/Yes you do) banter, I asked him to mail me some debt verification. He said that he doesn't have to, because Nextel already verified it and that's how he got my name and number (nice try, John). He then said, I am going to write it down that you acknowledge the debt and let's settle for $500.00. What is your credit card number? A***n, nice try. At this point, I really s****ed to get irate and said clearly you have not listened to one word I said. YOU need to verify the debt -- not the other way around. He couldn't even tell me how old the debt was or who the original creditor was. This is the best part -- he said "why do you keeping saying Nextel, maybe it was a Sprint account. You know how they c****e hands all the time. " He told me he would send so****ing on company letterhead saying I owe the debt (a***n, nice try - NOT legal debt validation.). Seriously, a scam. I ***g up on him -- which I should have done a lot sooner. These guys prey on ignorance. Be careful.
Every day I get a recorded message at the same time saying ERC is trying to collect a debt. They never say who they think I am only that I owe them money. I owe no one any thing. Some times a ma****e calls me, puts me on hold then ****s up on me. I refuse to jump through hoops for their stinking ma****e. If a person had the ***** to call me and tell me who they are looking for I could set them straight, however I am sure this some sort of scam.
Received a call about collecting a debt. We have nothing currently unpaid. Left no information other than this phone number and email address was not valid. Scam!
Repeated called for someone who is deceased. Tried getting them to stop , they keep calling. I simply **** up. I'm retired so it doesn't bother me. They usually call after 9:00am. By then I'm usually up and gone. It's their minutes, money and time.
I have been called by the same company (3 times), telling me to call :800-576-2419, or to visit:www.payerc.com. When I googled the website, I ran across nothing but complaints about the company. Apparantly they have multiple numbers and websites...check this link out: http://www.mustat.com/payerc.com
I to recieve phone calls from PAYERC but the number was different 8005650780. I go to the web site and put the reference number in and the number wasn't valid. I don't owe any money to anyone. I wish they would STOP.
answer no one there
I too received calls, three, from this number for a person who is not at my number. I responded and asked my number be removed, but that has not stopped them. Today I reported Enhanced Recovery Company, LLC to the Jacksonville BBB. Their web site is www.bbbnefla.org. If you receive erronous calls from this number 800-427-5933 suggest you report this company. Then write the company with your complaint:Kirk MoquinManagerEnhanced Recovery Company, LLCCompany Headquarters8014 Bayberry RoadJacksonville, FL 32256 Then send a copy to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). That should stop the calls. If not you are en***led to compensation.
This number keeps calling me about a debt, but I don't owe any debts.
Payerc just left me a message on my voicemail. 1 800 278 2420 to call.
if it smell like a duck , looks like a duck , it must be a duck, I will turn it over to the NYS attornys office for investigation.I have not done business with the bank they say I owe money
I just received a hard copy notice from www.payerc.com claiming I owe Charter Communications the same $33.00 amount. I haven't been a Charter customer for at least 4 or 5 years, maybe longer. I was wondering if I may have accidentally kept a remote control or so****ing minor, but thought I'd google it before calling since it is a little su****ious. Glad I saw the above post. The ERC LLC logo in the corner is very low quality, smells like a scam. It appears to have a Charter account number, I have no idea if it was the actual number of my previous account. How did they get this info? Someone stealing mail? Leaked from Charter?
I received a hard copy notice from ERC LLC saying I owe Charter Communications $33.00, which I do not.I went to ERC's web site and typed in the reference number on the notice I got. That led to a window asking me to choose one of three names (my own, plus two others) my address (my own plus two others) and then offered me the opportunity to "create an account," with the usual: user ID and password. I went no further. Ages ago I used Charter Communications for broad band connection to the Internet, but I always paid my bills. I'm wondering if this kind of scam--and I think it is a scam, brought on by hard times-- is the next new thing, replacing the Nigerian scams of a few years back that offered to make you rich if you would help pay so****ing for somebody to unlock some account or other worth millions of dollars. All you needed to do was either (1) send money or (2) give your bank account number. It was so transparently a scam that it was laughable.
Called to see who called and it wanted me to push numbers to reach different extensions, including to request a paid in full letter.
Received a call from 800-427-5933 regarding an upaid debt. No amount, no name of organization who contracted payerc to collect the debt. In addition, I have no outstanding debt to speak of so I knew immediately that it was a scam

Automated caller......There were choices but I did not make any choices. Now I get an automated voice of someone sounding like a woman who states the the call will now be recorded!!!!! This is simply AMAZING and unwarranted that so****ing like this can occur in the United States!
