A female who identified herself as "Investigator Kathy Moore" called and said she was a criminal investigator.She identified herself as an investigator with the "Department of Public Safety". She said i needed to return my car by tomorrow or i would go to jail. For a late payment???? I AM NOT TRYING TO KEEP THE CAR BUT I WILL RETURN IT VOLUNTARILY. WHAT DPS IS SHE REFERRING TO???

This "woman"....(If woman is a terminology to her) call me for a supose debt collection. She is nothing. SHe said its an investigator BUT...KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN...She its a fake.If you receive a call from her IGNORE this call. Dont waste your time.

Rcvd a voicemail from Investigator Kathy Moore on my cell phone stating that I needed to call her back immediately at 800-427-7193. She sounded pretty upset about so****ing so I immediately called her back. She asked me who I was and told her and she said she was looking for someone named Karen Duval. Told her I didn't know that person. She said that she had me on an application as a reference. She told me where this lady used to live and work and that she needed to contact her immediately. She said she was going to go ahead and subpoena me in anyway. I asked her what the subpoena was for she said because she believes I know this person and that I am withholding information. I told her what she was claiming was BS and ***g up on her. What she didn't know is that I already knew so****ing was fishy when I heard my voicemail so I took 1 minute to look her up before I called her back and found sooo much information online. Thank god for the internet!! I called her a***n and ask her for her PI# and she said it was 2004. I said "OH REEAALLY?? Is that the best number you could think of??? For what county ma'am???" She said she didn't need to provide me with anything. She said she wouldn't be wasting her time. This person must be truly bored with their life.

A female who identified herself as "Investigator Kathy Moore" called and said she was a criminal investigator. She was looking for a vehicle and I was put down as a reference. She said if I didn't cooperate with her I would be subpeonaed and could be looking at jail time if I didn't give her information on the person and vehicle. I asked what firm she worked for and if she was a PI. She refused to give any information. She has continually harrassed myself, my family and friends. **FYI** A Indiana licensed private investigator, by law, must disclose the firm they work for and their PI# upon request

This lady called and said she was a criminal investigator, she was calling about a vehicle she was looking for. She said the person was looking at a 10 year convicition unless I told her where they could be found. She said I would be subpeonaed if I did not cooperate. I was served a fake subpeona as I called the courts to check. I called "Investigator Moore" and asked for the agency she works for and if she was a PI. I requested she give me her PI# and she refused to give any information. **FYI PEOPLE** A Indiana Licensed Private Investigator, by law, must provide to you, upon request, the agency they work for and their PI#.

Rude collection agent calling for someone I know trying to speak legal terms. No more than a collection agent.

called facility and misrepresented self as Homeland Security Inspector looking for an employee

this woman called me about a car i totaled and threatened to arrest me if it was not recovered she stated she was a criminal investigator!

I think this is a debt collector trying to contact a friend of mine that I have no ability to contact, which I have told her. She talks in police lingo to sound official and even mentioned working for Homeland Security (I don't think they investigate truck reposessions). She claimed my friend was going to be charged with a felony for "stealing" the truck and that I "might" be subpoenaed to testify because I am "involved in this case." As far as I can tell this is just scare tactics from a collector but the first time she called me I panicked thinking my friend was in serious trouble.
