Have received repeated calls from an unidentified number. Mostly no one there, once a recorded message from Volkswagon Credit saying to call this number back. The recording asks for an account number or social. I messed with the numbers for a while and got a recording saying that they were closed and to call back. I have no account with Volkswagon. This is a fishing scam.
calls me everyday around the same time in the early afternoon. leaves automated message, this time when listened to whole message at the end a real person had picked up said*****o twice and then ***g up the phone(person had india type accent) I know I've paid my bill so I haven't ever returned the call myself. This has to be a scam.
This is NOT Volkswagen number. The caller is automated boot trying to scam peoples SSN!

Very rudely asked for the family member of a colleague of mine. Would not say what it was in regards to. Called the number back myself and the recording asked for my SSN. This doesn't seem legit.

SCAM! They are trying to get your SS#. Don't enter anything, and report the call to your local police.
interesting thing is I sold this car 35 days ago...
This is a legit number for VW Credit, not a scam, I just needed to pay my car payment.
