These folks call and **** up as soon as you answer. I Googled the number and came up with a site "CallCenterOps.com" which had the following posting: #4 (permalink) 05-10-2004, 11:40 PM ramonrojas Member Join Date: Nov 2003Location: Dominican RepublicPosts: 0 CC Solution --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well I just opened a Center and we fell in love with the system that we actually now represent it, email me your thoughts or needs, or provide me with your contact info, there is a lot to think about when taking a decision like that, and I beleive that the first thing to have clear is: BUDGET? Exact same situation as above!Caller rung our company, asked for an employee who retired in November 2007. When told that no-one works here with that name since 2007, she claimed that she had paid the employee a sum of £5000 for "software development services" and seeing as he is absent, she wanted our company to refund her. I asked her for proof of this transaction, and she became very evasive and said she would provide said proof after she received the £5000. I lied and told her that I had another person to deal with, and ***g up. I have since blocked the number and have had no further contact since.
A belligerent woman who seemed to not know how to converse called our business, asking for an employee who hasn't worked with us since mid-2008 to "follow up" about software development services. I said that we were not interested. She then asked, "Aren't you the RECEPTIONIST?" "Yes." "Then you wouldn't know." I told her that since that individual she had allegedly spoken with had been gone for the past year and a half, that we must not be interested, as no one else at our company had expressed interest during that time. She reiterated how I "wouldn't know," so I laughed, and she ***g up.She then called back moments later and asked for a man I had never heard of, to which I replied, "We have no one here by that name." She ***g up.
