Leave a CommentHi,My wife got one of these calls today on her Sprint cell phone and had to have her Debit Card reissued (yeah, called the # on the back of the card). Now tonight, on a Verizon ma bell line, unlisted forever, I got the same call. This is a robo call that seems to be fishing. Since I screen my calls with an old fashioned phone recorder, I avoided the temptation. Being a Sa****ay, I cannot get to the illegal call center for Verizon, but on Monday I plan to call then.Just FYI,Twice
I just received a voicemail saying to call this number or press 1 to reach their security department. My voicemail cut off the first half, so I'm not sure if they said that one of my cards was deactivated/restricted. Considering this is the 3rd complaint written here in 2.5 hours for this number, I smell a scam.
This is a phony automated service telling you that your credit card has been canceled and gives a return number or offers to forward. **** UP
i just got a call from the same phone number, except they were saying that my visa had been restricted from online purchases and i should press one or dial the number they provided. visa does not have my phone number. and if they did, they would not use the voice of a ***** w***e robot. advice: NEVER provide personal information to un-reputable sources!!!
Caller was automated message saying my debit card had been deactivated and that i should press 1 or call this # to speak to the security department. no banks have my cell # anyway so I figured this is fraudulent and ***g up right away.
