Leave a CommentThis person calls me every few hours all day beginning at 8:30 a.m. It is a recorded call - this afternoon the person identified himself as Mr. Marin and reported he was from a debt collection agency. No other information - to whom do I owe this debt, what is the amount?
I got a letter in the mail from this place. I had to research it to find out a number because it is addressed to someelse. So I figure I cannot open it since it is not addressed to me so I used the return address to find a phone number. Now it is a matter of calling them have them to stop sending these someone elses mail to my home.
This company calls several times a week. My husband and I have fico scores over 800 points, we do not owe anyone any money. We pay our bills and I want them to stop calling. I tried to talk to them at the 1-800-443-3012 #. They are rude and uncooperative.
calls everyday,sometimes twice
I have been receiving this call on a daily basis on my cellular phone. It is a recording with no details as to who they are trying to reach or anything else.
Repeated calls from debt collector, but when I call back, my cellphone number is not recognized by their system. No information on who they are trying to reach and repeated requests to delete my number to stop the calls go unheeded. Last resort, called from different # and refused to give them the number they called on, only that it was not showing in their system and needed to be taken care by their IT department - immediately.
recording with no details
These ****s called my house wanting someone who doesn't even live here! They asked if I knew this person, told them yeah, they asked for a better number to reach them at so the phone calls can stop coming to my house. Told them I don't have one and you don't need to call me anyway, they ******s ***g up on me!!Those idiots don't know who they are messing with I work in a collection agency and I know for a fact that once I have told them that person doesn't live here they cant call a***n, this would be harassment, which is a***nst the law. But I guess these ******s don't know how to follow the law anyway. I dare them to call a***n!! I have a good lawyer, I don't think he would mind suing them too!!
Don't pay these people a dime!!! I work in a collection agency got a call from one of the people I am working with to resolve a debt and they got a call from these people. They yelled and scream, threaten to sue you if you don't pay now!! Well they called my customer and told them this account is with them and to pay up now! They also told them the account was over $4,000.00 when the account in only about $2,000.00. I have no idea where these fools get there info but they are good at trying to scare you into paying a debt that you may or may not even owe, and if it is a debt you owe they jack up the actual amount u do owe. My advice is no matter what if these ******s call you call a lawyer and don't pay, until you do!! And never give the many of your information especially your social security number!! These people give collectors a bad name, I can completely understand why people get so defensive. I like to try to help those who want it, not harass the***** out of people. Every thing these guys do is illegal. Look up you local laws people!! And sue them if you can they deserve it. I cant believe they way they treat people, they are s*** and bottom feeders who need a dose of their own medicine!
I WISH, WHO EVER THIS IS WOULD STOP CALLING MY PHONE-LET ME CALL YOU AT ANTIME I WANT. (WHEN YOUR SLEEPING) OR (DINNER)
I received 2 automated calls from a "Mr. Stanley" saying that this is not a solicitation and a call from a debt collector talking about a correspondence that they supposedly sent me and wanting to resolve the matter. Both calls were at early morning hours between 4 and 5. Don't let them fool you. I am waiting to see if they continue to call me.
the same as what others have put here.
3-5 calls a day even on Sunday's
Automated message asking you to call them back when there is no debts.

NAFS is required by law to send you a letter within 5 days of initial contact with specific information therein, including the name of the original creditor, the amount of the alleged debt, etc. If they do not do this, they have violated the Act and are liable for up to $1000 to YOU. Also, within 30 days of being contacted by them, you should send a verification request letter.Within 30 days of being contacted by them, you should send a verification request letter (there are tons of examples of these on the internet) to their address - 165 Lawrence Bell Dr., Ste. 100, Williamsville, NY 14221-7817, and you need to make sure you send it certified mail, return receipt requested. This way, you will get the "green card" back showing exactly when they accepted the letter, and by whom. Make sure you put in your letter a "cease and desist" clause - in other words - tell them that they may not contact you a***n until they have verified the debt. (and spell out as many things as you can that they must verify - see examples on the internet) IF they contact you with anything other than a letter stating they are taking further legal action, or a verification of the debt (which they undoubtedly will not be able to provide), they have violated the Act a***n & are liable for another $1000. Also, if they fail to provide debt verification within 30 days of receipt of your letter, they are violating the Act a***n - and, yes, it's another $1000. Every single contact they make with you (other than verification) is a separate violation and cons***utes another $1000. Also, if they do not remove the unverified debt from your credit report (all 3 agencies), it's another violation, and another $1000. Lastly, you can get them for more violations for harassment, unfair practices, and false or misleading representations, a****st other things (such as contacting/harassing your relatives, neighbors, etc). Each violation is worth up to $1000. The key is: TAKE ACTION & DON'T SIT BACK! Recorded call from Gary Marshall. Threatening voice advising me "not to take advantage of him", whatever that is supposed to mean. S****ed getting these calls a couple of days ago.
told to call the office of Gary Marshall as "they have notified me in writing and given me every chance to resolve the matter". They also say this is not a solicitation and the voice sounds very mean. They call every day at odd hours.
