Another POS Spammer calling to harass me.
Called at 4:40 a.m., saying he was from a security company. Kept asking to talk to me. I kept asking why he called at 4:40 a.m. Quietly rude.
Our in-home fire alarm sounded and Monotronics did exactly what it was supposed to do...called the fire company and then called everyone on the calling list to verify the validity of the alarm. The fire truck response was immediate. The alarm was caused by hot sawdust rising to the ceiling.
this caller is an**** hole
I got a call at 4:00am. I do have their service and have never had any problems. My alarm goes off and I receive prompt polite service.
Company name is "Monitronics". A fake monitoring system in****ociation with "Platinum Protection", a door-to-door home security sales SCAM from Provo, Utah area which sends salesmen/installer teams out to various cities all over the nation during the summer. They do not even have a license to do business in some states. BBB has ordered them to cease and desist. Consumer Reports magazine cautions to never do business with DTD's. Plenty of other complaints found on Google.
The comments on another site claiming that this number may be a "phisher" are quite revealing. I canceled my inferior home monitoring service with Monitronics, who may or may not originate calls from this number, and since a day or two after cancellation have received robocalls from this number at least twice a day since then, around June 1, 2009, in spite of my callmenot.com device which intercepts the call and generates the no-longer-in-service tone. I can't report them to the FCC, as I actually did have a business relationship with them at one time, but I certainly can ignore them and urge anyone else reading this never to purchase an alarm system from them, especially since they seem to have gone from monitoring service to harassment.
Call received at 3:52 AM
I get these calls at midnight or 3:00am. I don't even have an alarm system!
