This is an automated service from Bank of America offering insurance coverage (the only thing I dislike about my service from them are these calls!). In order to be placed on their Do Not Call List, you must call the number, then listen to the instructions on how to do this. It does not take long, but be sure not to **** up just a s soon as you input your phone number! This is only the first step, and they give a few seconds pause at this point, and whether intentional or not, it serves them in that that some people will think that this is all they must do to be registered on the DNC List! Stay on the line once you input your phone number for further instructions!Once you have filed to be on the DNC List, you must wait 30 days. Once those days have passed along, if they continue to call, you may be able to file a legal complaint, so keep records of when they occur! To find out if and how to file such a complaint (and to find a wealth of additional help with other privacy issues), go to:http://www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs5-tmkt.htmPay particular attention to step #6 when learning how to file.UNITE & FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!
I have been missing calls daily, and it becomes a real pain to erase a blank message from voicemail every day. I found out it was Bank of America, so I called the number back. It was an automated message where you can place your name on all of BofA's DO NOT CALL lists.
"They" call every single morning about the same time. My answering ma****e picks up and they never leave message, which I'm guessing is because it is an automated call. Any way to get it stopped?
