the call came from 8556376513, said they were Duke Energy and we were to call 8004525214 for instruction on how to make a payment.

Went to voice mail - claimed to be Eversource Electric - NOT!
They called me with a reference number and to call to avoid power disconnection. Total scam! the caller ID shows ComEd number but the voice mail says to call 800-452-5214.
Said they wold turn of my power if I did nit call back in 30 minutes. I almost fell for it the first time. They asked that I go to Walgreen and buy a gift card and that I needed to put $400 on the gift card to bring me up to date. They are scammers and feel bad for anyone whom has fallen in their trap.
Said they were Com ED & that they would turn our power off if we didn’t pay $400 in 30 min
