Claims to be The Money Store in NY. A reverse lookup shows that they are in Melville, NY. I had answered an online survey about refinancing our mortgage but did not complete it. Withing half an hour the phone rang and it was a woman who said she was from this company. She aggressively (and persuasively, I might add) pushed me to apply with them. She said that her call was in response to my application (?!) I foolishly gave her some personal information and she seemed to manipulate figures so that I could qualify for a refinancing at 4.375%. I didn't smell right and I begged off for a couple of days. Does anyone know about this company?
