They called me about a fraud charge I had on my account but were asking for my account password or mothers maiden name. They then said that they could only help me with access to my account. Promptly ***g up as they should be able to help me out without that information
CC fraud alert
That I had bought an expensive item and it was on its way but call a number if think fraudulent
I called the number in the back of my card to verify and this was legitimate. They had declined a charge that was not me and have cancelled the card.
Don't call any number they text you. It is a scam. It sounds extremely legitimate because after you give them your info they are online getting the info so it sounds like they already had it. ONLY call the number on the back of your card. NEVER call or respond to any texts. For your safety. I looked up the number from the text and the 800 # it is not legit.
Noticed an unusual charge and notified me. Great service
I just called the number on the back of the credit card. There was a hold on my card and they wanted to verify if I knew of the purchase. It’s safer to call the number on the back of the card instead of the one they left on the voicemail.
chase fraud
Chase calling me to confirm that I was making a purchase outside of my home area after declining the charge. I jut used another card
It's legit. I called the number on the back of my card first, then this number. I was able to hear the exact same message through both phone numbers. The only difference is that the number on the card back had other service options and this number was directly to the fraud service.
legitimate call from chase
Not Spam. Chase bank fraud protection. They may not leave a message but it is important you contact Chase if you receive a call from this number!
Legit Chase fraud line
Fraud alert call from Chase Quicken
The is a legitimate number for chase fraud
I got a call from them saying my chase card is a fraud. I DONT HAVE A CHASE CARD!!!!
Chase Visa Fraud Dept. Legitimate.
It's actuly chase fraud we just called it it saved our****es
This number is from the Chase fraud, but to be safe and sure I called the support number on the back of my credit card.
Thank you.
I thought the call itself was an obvious attempt at credit card number theft but it turns out it was legitimate. I called the general customer service number on the back of the card. En***ies had tried to make several charges for thousands of dollars. The account was closed. This is a low limit card I use for online purchases.
caller left message: essentially call us. i did. they wanted my credit card/account number. i asked them which one. the male voice stumbled around and then asked for my full name. idiot! if this call was about my credit card accout, they would not ask for just my name: they would kn ow it. i ***g up.
all of the above are right. it's from chase. as many said, please call the number on the back of your card. in fact, my chase credit card was missing. they called to verify with me on two su****ious charges. i would like to thank all of the above who said about chase. otherwise, i would have been in a big trouble.
Ditto, this appears to be a legitimate chase number. We got a legitimate call on fraudulent charges that were showing up.
I called them, and they wanted my entire card number. Which is a horrible procedure, since it might make people comfortable with giving that information out to people who call claiming to be from Chase.I explained that I wasn't going to give them that information, so they directed me to call the number on the back of my card and ask to be directed to the fraud department. I did, and low-and-behold I reached the same guy. But, when you reach them in this manner they only ask for the last four digits of your social security number (since you've already entered your account number at your banks initial prompt). So, this particular number is legit - but don't ever give anyone you're not absolutely sure of your CC info.
I received calls from this and it is legit. To play it safe, I called the # on the back of the CC to verify that the number and issue was real. It was. Play it safe, if need be call a direct # to the Card.
Actually, that phone number is legit. But you should never call it anyway - there's no way of telling. If there's a call about your credit card, call the number ON YOUR CREDIT CARD.
I got a call from this number, but didn't answer. They left a message and said my Chase account possibly had fradulent charges. When I called the number back it wanted me to enter my entire CC#, I didn't, and called Chase.
these people are pesty. how do you get your number off lists with recorded messages?
i got this today and it was not even my card number or name weird
This number showed up on my caller ID today. They called 3 times and left 1 message saying they needed to verify charges on my cc. They included the last 4 numbers on my card and that it was a SWA Rapid Rewards card.I finally called the # back and didn't like that they wanted me to enter my whole cc #. So, I called the # on the back of my card and entered the last 4 of my cc #. Then, an automated message s****ed reading off about 5 or 6 charges. I was asked to enter 1 if all were legit, 2 if at least one was unrecognized, or 3 if none were legit. So, just call the number on the back of your cc instead.
Rec'd call this morning inquiring about charges to my AKC Visa/Chase card. Told me about several charges that I knew I did not make and said they would be removed. Ask for my home address. Is this legitimate?
asked for mr f to call re: his account ending in **x8 ...we have not used Chase card in years, and don't activate the new ones when they come in
same here
